Having the prime location in Sai Kung, I guarantee HKUST is the best scenic university in Hong Kong. I know a lot of people come all the way to our campus just to enjoy the view and we attract a lot of passionate photographers to do photo shoots here. Yes, I am proud. Why should I not be? One of the best buildings on campus is our huge library, featuring five floors with reading areas and learning commons. What's so special about our library? Well, we have a massive amount of learning materials and the learning common is open 24 hours. So, students can stay there all day, all night. Most importantly, the best part of the library has to be its breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding sea. It's no doubt that students get pretty stressed during finals and you can see them working really hard in the library all the time. However, the view from the library just makes everything better. Just take a look at the beautiful sea or even catch the sunset before you die in piles of books and you will suddenly feel good again. I am already missing the library... read more
