Had some suspension and diagnostic issues with my 2023 Skidoo. Just returned from week-long trip and was headed out again the following weekend. Called and dropped off 2/9 asking, if at all possible, to have it back for 2/12. I added some preventative maintenance items as well as the diagnostic. Got my sled back completely fixed on 2/11 and the price was extremely reasonable for the work and "emergency service", my words not theirs, that i had requested. I bought my Waverunner here about 10 years ago and have had it serviced regularly over that time period. I've also owned a few scooters in the same time period. The toys that HK Powersports sell all need maintenance and occasional repairs. For me what matters most is the quality of service a dealer can provide. The service here is always done professionally, is priced fairly (I didn't say cheap) and is done on time. The service managers including the current one are always friendly, responsive and competent. I highly recommend HK Powersports. read more

First let me say I amnot in the habit of complaining about services rendered. HK Powersports,Laconia. Brought my trike in for a inspection sticker. I am told I need new front tire. I understand. I need to pay for the tire to get it ordered ,$289. I understand. The following week. I get a call telling me the tire has been replaced. But the service tech says the mounting bracket for the front fender is broken. We discuss the issue and I say was it broken during the removal or replacement of the tire. The service advisor says "OH NO!". I keep pushing back. The service advisor speaks with his manager and they offer to replace the broken part at cost no labor. I agree. Additionally one of the directionals isnot operating properly. I authorize the repair. A week later I get a call saying the bike is ready. The new tire is mounted, the fender repair is made, the light is not fixed and no sticker. I feel they had taken a lost and wanted the trike out of their shop. Save yourself any frustration and stay away from HK Powersports. Very unprofessional. FYI a bad ground in the light. Easy fix. read more

While my sales experience was ok (2 Yamaha ATVs purchased in 2019 at HK Laconia) the service department is under qualified to perform a basic oil change/service on a modern Yamaha snowmobile. After picking my sled up from the oil change, I drove it home, 45 minutes away. Started the sled, took it off trailer, and then saw that it had thrown a low oil pressure code... Back to HK for an evaluation. They addressed the problem (someone forgot to hook a Low Oil Pressure Sensor up) and off I went, 45 minutes back home. The service department made no attempt to compensate me for my time, which is at least worth something, and I did not ask, assuming I was saving some poor soul (who made an honest mistake) a royal reaming. Unloaded it, parked in garage and awaited decent snowfall. FAST FORWARD a couple weeks... Enough snow to ride cautiously around my property checking trails. 200 yards from the house, the machine (a Venture Lite MP with around 400 miles) began sputtering and stalling... Strong fuel smell... after disassembly of plastics it was clear that fuel was being sprayed under pressure near the fuel tank. I turned the key over and watched, prepared for a nasty sled fire. The fuel line near the airbox (airbox which was removed for service and oil change, and possibly the fuel line was removed and replaced under that $400 service) was not connected to the output side of the fuel sending unit properly, thus ending my search. Not only is this a major inconvenience, it is also a huge SAFETY concern. I have young children of my own and nephews who ride with us and I hate to think what would have happened if my wife would have been out with them and failed to notice the problem as early as I did. For professionals that are supposedly certified by Yamaha, this is a staggering lack of competence and attention to detail, especially if you take into consideration that I bought 2 new ATVs here in 2019... Thoroughly disgusted. I am in the market for a new UTV with tracks, plow and a cab and WILL NOT be buying from HK again, EVER. read more

Made the process happen simply, and we were in and out with our new toy. They even helped us after hours, since we could not arrive until nearly closing time, and loaded the new toy into our truck for us. Just visited HK today to look for helmets for the two four wheelers I recently purchased from them. My son almost got hit by an employee driving through the parking lot too fast. Agreed to order two new jet skis from them and put a 500.00 deposit. I was never sent the sales contract. When I finally received it I noticed hidden fees on each ski, as well as on the trailer. After speaking with another dealer that offered me the same exact thing for over 1,000 less I canceled my order with HK. They refused to refund the deposit that we had never signed a sales contract on. I feel the misrepresented the sale in general and it was pretty sketchy to never send me a sales contract. When I requested the contract they first sent me warranty information instead. I had to again request an actual contract. Pretty bad- after buying units else where and losing 500.00 here... It was still CHEAPER to purchase same product ELSEWHERE! do yourself a favor... shop some place else. read more

Hi, we use Hk Powersports Hooksett NH location and they are wonderful. Their service department has installed an aftermarket ISCI handbrake and adjustable handlebars on our 2011 Spyder. They are willing to do these modification when a lot of other area dealers are not. They are dependable, efficient, and their prices for shop time are reasonable. I strongly recommend you do some research about HK and shop around before you make a purchase there. Read the reviews. The service department will damage your machine while working on it and than deny it. The sales department will not return your calls or give you a straight answer. Jim Whalley will never agree with the customer, his employees never make mistakes. Please do not waste your time or money with them. Yes, I believe they used to be the best dealership in NH, but now all they care about is profit, not your needs. read more

We went to HK based off on recommendations from friends. We needed helmets for our new sleds. We are new to snowmobiling and don't know a lot about what we need. Not one person every acknowledged our presence, or asked us if we needed help. We went to the desk several times with questions and we were treated like we were an inconvenience. When we'd ask if they had different sizes out back, no one was willing to go look. As we wanted to ride our sleds this week, we did end up making a purchase. But we will never go back there. read more

Hooksett: I was approved to finance a snowmobile and I signed all the paperwork. When my boyfriend (whose name was not on the financing) went in on the scheduled day to pick it up for me, the sales person disclosed my personal, private financial data to him. He explained that they weren't going to honor the contract and that if I wanted the sled, I'd have to come in to sign a new set of paperwork AND bring $2,200. Bait and switch? Yup. Because no one there called to tell ME this, I called them. They confirmed all of it. They violated my rights by disclosing my financial status to an unapproved third party and won't honor the contract they had me sign. If I want the sled, I have to throw out the first contract and bring them $2,200. Unreal. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. read more

Having dealt with this business the last 10+ years I can honestly say that you will not find a more reputable dealer around period. I recently called to ask them about what size trailer I would need to put all 3 sleds of mine in one trailer, they referenced the trailers I owned without me telling them, whether they looked this up in the computer or not this just impressed me. Additionally I told them straight up I was probably going to buy a used one as well, they still took the time to go over things with me. Sorry but this type of service just can't be found anywhere except for a small family owned business, in an area where you have to go to the fucking devil and shop (Walmart, go fuck yourself) this place is amazing. Professional, affordable and ultimately what this country was founded on, small business minded people looking to take the extra time to satisfy the customer. They are now open on Mondays too, which makes me happy and willing to give them the 5 star review they deserve !!! read more
