The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and never feels overcrowded. There's a great variety of equipment, so whether you're lifting, doing cardio, or taking classes, you're covered. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming--they make you feel comfortable no matter your fitness level. The trainers are especially great at offering help without being pushy, which I really appreciate. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. Again. Last November it was out for nearly a month. Same laminated sign. Same vague timeline. Same "maintenance" fog where accountability should be. Let's be clear: this is the only steam room in Washington County. If there were another option, I'd already be gone. The only reason I maintain this membership is access to that amenity -- the one advertised, promoted, and built into the monthly fee. A membership is a transaction. I pay. You provide what you advertise. Since this location can't seem to keep a core amenity operational, maybe it's time the people at the top hear about it directly. VASA is backed by private equity firm Silver Oak Services Partners, and led by CEO Rich Nelsen. When a company scales across multiple states and markets premium amenities, operational consistency isn't optional -- it's the business model. If the steam room is going to be chronically unreliable, say that plainly. Don't market it as a feature if it's a recurring casualty of "maintenance." Members shouldn't have to escalate basic facility upkeep beyond the front desk. But when a pattern repeats, escalation becomes reasonable. Fix it. Maintain it. Or adjust the membership pricing and advertising to reflect reality. Right now, it feels like we're paying for a promise that keeps evaporating. And steam, at the very least, should show up. The building is nice and cold with lots of fans to keep it cooler. There's lots of parking and just the right amount of equipment. Sometimes the place can be packed, but that's just how any gym is. The only down side is that some of the equipment is a bit old. Overall is a clean affordable facility. I highly recommend it!

It's not bad, but I can say I won't be going back…read more I let the young guy at the front desk know I was also going to check out another gym down the road to compare pricing and see which one best fit my needs. I also asked him to check if this was the gym my minor daughter uses, since my wife couldn't remember the name. He said she didn't have a membership there, so I told him I would check the other gym as well because I wanted to sign up where my daughter goes so we could go together. What turned me off was that he started talking negatively about the other gym and their equipment. I told him it wasn't fair to talk down about other gyms like that, and that people will choose what works best for them. I went to the other gym, and it is nicer, cleaner, and $10 per month less. When I got home, I confirmed that the membership we're currently paying for, for our daughter is at Performance Fitness. I'll be moving her membership to the new gym, and I'm sure her friends will follow. One recommendation for the owners: hire someone at the front desk who is more mature and respectful.

Fascia Class-Valerie taught the class and it was definitely challenging. I love the concept of this class and the release that happens from this style of rolling. Val is an excellent instructor. She keeps it light and fun. Her style is perfect and it seems everyone feels comfortable in these challenging fascia release movements. Aerial Yoga-Karlene is an incredible instructor. I've taken aerial in the past, at another studio, and this was the experience that I've been seeking. I loved the flow. It was gentle, yet challenging. Karlene also gives detailed instruction and guidance so I knew exactly what I should be doing, while protecting my body. I encourage everyone to take a class with Karlene. I wish I had a Karlene in my town!

This provides time for cleaning and for the next class to begin stretching to prevent injuries. Every Wednesday she ends her class at 6:25pm. This doesn't allow for time for cleaning, the next class to stretch and for the class to begin on time. That is rude, disrespectful, self centered and a disregard for safety and to hear she owns this business is unacceptable. The instructor on Wednesday Cronk is a bad ass!!! His classes are always full. Lisa displays a lack of etiquette toward colleagues and a lack of respect for paying customer.
