    Verizon West Long Branch, NJ: Outstanding Service That Saved…read morethe Day! Carol at the Verizon store in West Long Branch, NJ, was terrific--quick, smart, and knowledgeable. Her focus, and expertise, and her smile were super helpful on a not so great day when I was dealing with a broken phone. She thoroughly reviewed my plan, found multiple ways to save me money, and guided me smoothly through the frustrating process of replacing my broken phone. Later that day, I returned to activate an older phone temporarily while waiting for the new one. Five Verizon tech support reps over the phone over two days had already said it couldn't be done and told me to wait five more days without service. That's when the smart and handsome white linebacker dude (whose name I wish I had) stepped in. Strong, and determined, he tried five different approaches, refused to give up, and successfully set up my e-SIM card. I was able to install it at home after tweaking my broken screen -- it worked perfectly!! Cool Carol and this dedicated colleague didn't just provide good service, it was GREAT service! "THE DUDE" , well he went above and beyond to help someone in a real bind. It's the kind of effort that makes you proud of people who truly care about doing their job well. I went in at 9am and had forgotten my license so they required that I go get another form of ID. One hour later I returned with the ID and they said OPPS looks like you are not authorized in the account. Sorry. You need to have your husband put your name on it. 2 things. One I was trying to surprise my husband with a birthday gift & two that I wasn't on the account would have been good to know before I drove 1 hour to get ID.

    I see there a lot of negative reviews on here for this Best Buy, and I'm not sure why. I've…read morealways found the staff here to be extremely helpful over the years. The store typically has all of my electronic needs and when they don't have something in stock, they've always been willing to place an order to have it shipped to the store or delivered to my home. And if I need it immediately, they've been extremely willing to let me know whether the item is available in a nearby Best Buy (Holmdel being the closest neighbor) As a further example of the good customer service here, when I bought my new tv earlier this year, it would too large to fit in my car while still in the box. Rather than make me come back with a larger vehicle, the staff went out of their way to carefully remove the tv from the box so that it could safely fit in the vehicle. They didn't have to do that - I'm certainly no one special - yet they took the time out to help me. I greatly appreciated the effort. So I am pushing aside the negative reviews of this place and saying that I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend giving this Best Buy a shot!!

No milk, no necessities... THEN A DAY BEFORE they send me a text. Sorry it's going to be Another week!!! OMFG are you kidding me!!! I call them up after a 1/2 hour of dealing w ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ANSWERING SERVICE! I give up I drive 40 minutes to the store sit for 1 hour and speak with some guy with dreadlocks down to his knees, who's the store manager named Jeffery Blackner and he tells me in 2 weeks they haven't bothered to send my fridge over to the warehouse to be delivered that's the problem!! Lazy ass non paying attention! They had 8 people sitting there doing squat as I am sitting there god knows who else's appliance isn't prepped and not ready to go. I literally sat there waiting for this store manager and he was 14 feet away from me (2 desks) goofing off w other employees and the employee I asked was just sitting there on his phone not bothering to say "hey this guy needs you" TALK ABOUT A CREW THAT IS TOO STONED TO GET A JOB DONE. No wonder it takes 3 weeks to get a refrigerator moved 15 miles by a billion dollar outfit! What has happened to service. Jeffery did say the fridge would be delivered to the warehouse WENDESDAY (it was sunday) after I called and texted wendesday I got a call on Thursday they couldn't do anything to expedite my delivery. It would be too much effort to put my refrigerator on a truck for a Thursday, Friday or Saturday delivery so I must yet wait for a Monday delivery. This is American service at its best. 3 weeks to get a refrigerator moved from exit 105 to 89 on the parkway. No expectation of trying a little harder of helping the client when they screw up just the oh well they will just need to wait on us!!! Best Buy or maybe worst delivery.

Haven't met anyone like Scott in a while, someone who's in business out of a passion for what he does and his desire to help others. As soon as you meet him you can tell how much he loves computers and loves helping people in general. To say he's knowledgeable is quite an understatement. I wish he could've help me with some of my computer programming classes back in school lol!! For starters he's available 24 hours. Which is great of course. I was able to drop my computer off after work and pick it up after work the next day, very convenient! After dropping it off the first day he called me as planned around 9 o'clock at night to let me know that things were going well. I don't think customer service gets any better than that! Most places would've left the computer on the counter until the next morning. Scott had scans being run all night long so that it will be ready for pick up the next day. I'll also say that he is charging less than any place else I've ever taken a computer to get help, plus I've never gotten it back the next day fixed completely, plus there were no extra charges, hidden fees, etc. Actually he did more than what he said, he launched all my upgrades, he added some free software to help keep my computer virus free, he even installed an app on my computer in case I ever needed his help I could speak with him remotely. These are all free of course. And the computer has been working wonderful since I returned home with it! All problems fixed 100 percent!! How lucky to have a service like this right here in central New Jersey in Freehold. I would drive here to get my computer fixed even if I lived a half hour away. Very, very highly recommended! Spread the word about this incredible computer service, you won't be disappointed!

She ultimately didn't get it fixed by NO fault of his. She just doesn't live in the area and had to leave unexpectedly so she needed to handle it another way. I left this review as he even responded to wish her luck and say thank you for inquiring. Real class act who understands how important customer service is. We wish Scott all the best!
