She had the perfect materials and know-how to help us create our own masterpiece, inspired by the art we saw at the museum. My daughter did not want to do anything else in the city besides make art with Ms Audrey- we even skipped the children's museum. We learned different techniques for using the materials and I'll definitely be incorporating them as we continue to create at home. We booked a sugar cookie decorating class with Louisville Cookie Company. I liked that the teacher demonstrated overhead with TV & wore a microphone for all to hear. My husband and I really enjoyed this new experience for a midweek date night. During the class staff rounded tables for drink orders and delivered while we worked. They offered classic & seasonal cocktails for purchase. The cocktails we had were delicious and fairly priced. The Craftery does not serve food but you are able to bring your own in. Angela has always been so helpful, patiently answering all of my questions and offering expertise on items/products I was unfamiliar with. We were able to get reservations very easily, and the studio put together a large table for us to be able to talk and paint. It is eight dollars for just being in the studio plus the price of your item. The ceramics can cost anywhere from eight bucks to 100, depending on what you are wanting to design. A coffee cup was about $18-$20. They do put the item in a kiln and allow you to pick it up at your convenience within three months.
