We picked this venue because she allowed us to express our vision and have our own food which was a HUGE plus because of our personal family tradition that she respected! I truly can't recommend this venue enough it is a beautiful venue and truly brought my vision for our wedding to life. The palm trees were a beautiful touch that made it feel like home. What sold me was the beautiful white roses that lined the aisle. It was something I dreamed about and to find a venue that already had it was amazing! Good: Beautiful…read moreoutdoor location. There was a pond with lily pads and a small water fountain, a vineyard was the backdrop to our head table, the grass was green and very well maintained. There are cute statue/figurine type things that make great photo opportunities. Overall it was just a beautiful, peaceful place with lots of room to play with setup ideas. They had shade screens that helped shade the spacious cement patio / dance floor in the late afternoon/evening. They also allowed us to bring in our own shade structures, and had plenty of outlets around the location for lights and sound equipment. They lent us a golf cart to help carry larger items from the truck to setup. They put up signs to direct traffic in from freeways, so we didn't have to. They had parking attendants available to direct cars into their orchard where there was plenty of room for parking and a golf cart shuttle service so our guests would not have to walk in the dirt. The restroom / changing area was air conditioned, spacious, and comfortable. It was nicely decorated. There were even wine / bottle openers in the dressing room, which we thought was fantastic. Bad: The lady in charge of the coordinating was very unprofessional. She was talking bad about us behind our backs on several occasions, once even to my own mother. The end time kept changing, with our contract stating one thing and the coordinator saying something else, several times. We were under the impression that we could dance until 11, then be all packed up and gone by 12, but she cut off our DJ at 9:45 and wanted us out by 11. The golf cart that we were able to use during setup was not available for use at the end of our event due to not having headlights, and with our lights packed up in boxes it was very difficult to see at night and made tear down a bit more difficult than it had to be. We were in charge of hosting our bar, which was fine, but when the coordinator saw that our caterer also brought tea and lemonade, she hired another bar tender to come and help, without consulting us and this was not even necessary. The parking attendants that did a fantastic job earlier were told by the coordinator (without our knowledge) to come serve themselves at our buffet, but we did not know that we would be needing to include them in a head count. This would not have been a problem if we would have known about them ahead of time. Luckily our caterer came prepared with extra food. The coordinator's husband offered to bring my truck over to help at the end of the night, but then made a comment to my mom about how "what kind of man doesn't take care of his truck?" and pointed out that the gas tank was on empty, when really the gauge has been broken for awhile now and there is plenty of gas in the truck. That was none of his business. Then about a week after our event, we went to a local business for breakfast and found out that our coordinator had been talking bad about us to other people in town, too. All in all: We do recommend this location. It really is beautiful, and is perfect for an outdoor venue. The owners were more than happy to meet with us after our event. They apologized profusely for the things that went wrong due to the unprofessionalism of their coordinator. They had no idea that some of these things were happening and were quite embarrassed. It does get hot in the summer, so plan accordingly, and use a different coordinator than the one that we had.

We ordered one of their woodfired pizzas and a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc and sat out at one of the "stall" type seating areas. The pizza was outstanding and so was the Sauv Blanc. We did not try any of the other wines yet, but we will absolutely be back, again. While we just stopped in for a bite to eat, I can see how this would be a wonderful location for private and public events. Open, great music, great food, excellent service, shaded seating, and outstanding views!

They comped the meal, and we didn't ask for it; we only wanted to split the check, which was a policy that was never discussed, but their system could do it. So they decided to comp the check, given the many issues. Then the manager calls me after we leave, leaves a message, and says, very passively aggressive, "We comped your meal, but you did not leave the server a tip." Servers live off tips. But don't worry, we took care of her tip. Have a good day." Umm, excuse me? I was a server for over 7 years. First of all, I wouldn't expect a tip after the establishment that failed me by not ensuring they had adequate kitchen supplies to keep a Mother's Day up and running. Additionally, I would have added more staff to the day, which would of course be very busy. And lastly, how are we tipped when you comped the bill and walked away, and nobody had cash? We did not ask for the bill to be comped. So for future reference, dear John I don't recommend calling your customers and bullying them over voicemail. You're the problem, not us.

The Hiddenbrooke Hills team went above and beyond on my wedding day!…read more Leading up to the wedding, I was honestly pretty anxious since I had been coordinating with multiple vendors and only had about four meetings with the Wedgewood Hiddenbrooke Hills team about the big day. But to my surprise, both the rehearsal and wedding day were completely stress-free! Christina, Taylor, and the entire team truly took care of me and my loved ones from start to finish. And can I just say -- my guests had so much fun! From the overflowing drinks at the bar, the gorgeous and spacious venue, to the amazing food during cocktail hour and dinner -- everything was absolutely perfect. I honestly couldn't have imagined a better day. Thank you so much, Hiddenbrooke Hills team!

Elite Package Ok…read moreit's a long one but if you're going to invest money anywhere I think it could be helpful to make an informed decision. So overall I think the concept and idea of all inclusive planning is cool and can help ease some wedding planning stresses but throughout, I've explained it (when people ask) as a bunch of companies that have decided to partner to work cohesively but mostly to maintain working relationship. You will need to reach out to each vendor and make appointment with them and meet whether face to face or over zooms but aside from wedgewood.. Same as you would if it were not all inclusive. Again what it does however, is gives you dedicated partners that are working closely on a constant basis... we decided to go with wedgewood because we have 1 year old twins and figured it would be a great fit for our situation. The staff are really friendly and extremely nice. You have a good amount of meetings with Wedgewood(maybe 3 plus a binder pick up so 4), in my opinion not too many, but I'm also local. You go through the run down, multiple times of what to expect, what the steps to come are, and how you'd like your day to look. Planning and coordination The day of, leading up to the ceremony, the day was seamless. Maybe an hour or 30 minutes before the ceremony the officiant meets with us in separate rooms (in my opinion too late in the process to iron over last minute details) I expressed a detail I'd liked altered and he gives me push back, to the point where I have to remind him this is my wedding. Floral Florals were nice, however I asked for only greenery on the tables and there were blooms. Also there were supposed to be guttered petals lining the ceremony isle instead there were 4 bags of petals unopened piled at the start of the isle. When I reached out to wedgewood they expressed the florist did not give them any instruction--but again as stated you have multiple meetings over the course of time and it states plainly in the paperwork that is an element of the ceremony Ceremony As the bride I can only speak to when I entered. But there was some issue with walkie talkies that ultimately delayed my entry. The song I was to enter to (I wanted no more than the first 54 seconds to play) was pretty much done after I was driven about 25mph on the back of a golf cart to the ceremony... hunny the hair is getting thrown all over from the wind, I'm holding on in hopes that I'm not thrown, to show up and my song is almost over. At this point ok we're gonna roll with the punches Officially yours I think the officiant thinks we've all come to see him. I kinda had strange vibes in our meeting but I like to trust that people are able to perform in their expertise maybe better than they can explain. We did ask for prayer in our initial and only meeting but a lot more interpretation was given rather than word. Danville bakery I absolutely loved this bakery, the owner was lovely very accommodating and listened to the things that were important to me. We picked up a tasting box and faxed back our request. Again I'm local so no big deal for me iMobile dj The dj was very good he was familiar with our music genre preferences and sound system was good throughout ceremony and reception. We met via zoom he made sure he understood our preferences and what we expected the day to look like, even provided recommendations Buffet capt I didn't have much a a close interaction with the catering staff. I appreciate them making sure all our small guests were served promptly. Even at the end of the night Vicki made sure the groom and I had food to take with us in case we didn't get a chance to enjoy our food due to the days flow. However the next day a lot of guest said they didn't get cake, and these were guest that don't communicate with each other and also no cake was sent back with us. Per the next day response of our coordinator stated each seat had a slice and there wasn't any left... mmm I dunno Our dedicated coordinator left at the beginning of our reception. Kinda strange but aside from cake issues our reception was fire (we had a really good dj) Overall experience I don't plan to have another wedding but if I could do it again I wouldn't necessarily make this route my first option. Again they are really nice but the actual flow of the ceremony needs more dedication. If there is a rehearsal and multiple meetings where we discuss how the day should look, I expect my day to reflect that. Yea things happen but we (if lucky) only get married once, these businesses function daily and could be a lot more fluid. Maybe don't depend on walkie talkies, maybe keep a copy of the plans on hand and make sure detail are covered. At the end of the night we tipped coordinators, dj, buffet capt, and bar tender. Side note: To be fair I reached out the next day expressed my gratitude and asked for possible resolve. I was replied to the next day (folks get busy) and no accountability was taken.

Buyers end up having to do inspections, which is backwards. SAR should recommend a change of these practices. Have agents do their AVIDs up front, and have sellers provide inspection reports in advance of listing and disclosures.
