Once you are taken back and Dr. Zeineh comes in for a consult she always has the best and warmest smile on her face. All the worries and fears are subsided. She makes you feel so very welcome. She listens to every concern and questions you may have. Once surgery time came (I had a tummy tuck and skin removal) she comes into the pre op area always with a warming smile on her face She explains once again what to expect and the details for recovery to make sure that you understand completely. As someone who has worked in the medical friend for 28 years I highly recommend Dr. Zeineh to anyone. I can not thank her enough for the way that she has changed my life.

While undergoing major surgery requires…read moretrust and clear communication, my experience with both Dr. Zeineh and her office staff has been deeply frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. While Dr. Zeineh is polite in person, her complete lack of respect for patients' time is deeply upsetting. She was consistently at least 45 minutes late to my office appointments and was almost an hour late on the morning of my actual surgery. Having worked in medical offices myself alongside doctors managing high patient volumes who rarely ran more than 15-20 minutes behind, this level of constant delay is unreasonable. Additionally, front office interactions were routinely cold. When I called anxious about a potential abscess based on imaging results, I misspoke out of fear; rather than responding with empathy to a scared post-op patient, Stephanie cut me off and patronized me, asking, "Who told you that?" This pattern of poor communication extended to my medical care as well. I developed tissue necrosis post-op, and while the Dr. Zeineh did treat the area and it eventually healed, she never directly named the condition or offered any personal reassurance that what I was experiencing was a manageable part of recovery. Navigating a scary surgical complication without direct, comforting communication from my surgeon was extremely unsettling. To make matters worse, at 10 months post-op, my breasts show significant sagging. When I scheduled a consultation to discuss a revision, the office canceled my appointment under the premise of drafting a self-pay estimate first. It has now been over a month since I requested the quote--and weeks past my original appointment date--with zero outreach from their team. It should never be the patient's responsibility to constantly chase down a practice for basic administrative follow-up and necessary post-surgical support. Major surgery requires punctuality, transparency, and compassionate care, and this practice fell short across the board. I cannot recommend them.

After meeting with several plastic surgeons, Dr. Motakef immediately stood out. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine bedside manner made me feel comfortable from the start. Rather than rushing me toward surgery, he took the time to get to know me, ask thoughtful questions, and truly understand my goals and concerns. That level of care and patience made all the difference and reassured me that I had found the right surgeon. I've also been receiving my lymphatic massages with Brooklyn and Stephanie, and they have both been amazing. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and have made my recovery so much more comfortable. One thing that has impressed me the most is Dr. Motakef's continued involvement throughout my recovery. He frequently stops in during my lymphatic massage appointments to check on my healing, answer my questions, and make sure everything is progressing well. I've heard from many people whose surgeons only see them during scheduled post-op visits, so this level of ongoing care has meant so much to me. Dr. Motakef truly cares about his patients, and it shows in every interaction. I couldn't be happier with my experience, and I highly recommend him and his incredible team to anyone considering plastic surgery.

Do not let this fool you, he has many years of experience. Kelsie was also present during my in-person consult which I appreciated. Dr. M was professional , realistic and also provided great feedback of how to reduce surgical risks and complications. BMI needs to be under 30, ideally. We then discussed using GLP-1 products to get my weight down. The more I lose, the better. He stressed the importance on safest patient outcomes and achieving the desired look the first time around. He has seen many people come in thinking they are going to look one way after surgery, however, it is not a realistic expectation. He tries to explain through this with each consult to prevent any unrealistic expectations post surgery. I had two particular questions about 1) can other procedures be done with a tummy tuck and 2) why do some women still have a pouch like appearance after a tummy tuck. He patiently and thoroughly explained the difference between subQ fat and visceral fat, and the areas near major organs that he would not be able to lipo due to safety considerations. This is the reason why it is important to get the BMI below 30 so I do not have to do a re-do in the future. The quote I received was higher than 2 other consults I had but it is definitely a more well rounded approach to address mid trunk problem areas. Even though I am not going through surgery at this time, I would consider it in the future. He is a kind, down to earth, confident, professional and knowledgeable surgeon.

The doctor took advantage of my older 1970's hernia to call them a repair and place mesh. The doctor didn't explain the procedure to me prior to the surgery of that he was focusing on a repair of something that I didn't complain about or was even an issue. I thought I was just describing my prior health history and he took that as a way to fix something that wasn't an issue and profit by the work. Around August 2024 I started having the most excruciating and severe pain in my lower pelvic area and I knew it had to be the mesh. The doctors office was very slow to respond and set up an appointment. I had taken 3 emergency room visits in total. The ER would only run a CAT scan which did not show any results the doctor scheduled an MRI and he claimed it did not show a mesh issue. I had to wait 6 months for an appointment with a UCLA specialist who used the same MRI to verify an issue with the right side and the left. I had to wait for a surgery date until February 2025 for the right and July 2025 for the left side. In both cases the mesh had migrated down to my lower pelvic area. They had to dig out the right side in sections. The specialist said both sides were the worst he ever seen and both surgeries took longer than most of this situation. The mesh had adhered to my organs and other internal components in that area. Whether it was failure of the mesh or poor installation of the mesh is hard to say. But it is ironic that they both failed. The pain from this type of situation is indescribably painful and unbearable. I have no idea how I survived. It cost me my job as I could focus or concentrate. The doctor ignored my begging and pleading to remove the mesh. He wouldn't even acknowledge the mesh as the issue and he looked at the same MRI that the specialist looked at. This doctor lacks any compassion or concern for his patients well being and health. I would run and not look back. If you were to have an issue, and I suggest you look into mesh failure, as it can fail, don't expect and support from Dr. K he seems to think he is beyond a mistake or that something that was beyond his control, like product failure, could even happen on one of his surgeries. When I had my last appointment with you, Dr. Khosravi, I had mentioned the name of the surgeon, and you said you knew who he was, I would suggest you reach out to his office and ask them to send you a copy of the two surgery report and the photos of the mesh while they removed it. If not I'd be happy to send you a copy as I have them on file as I now have two law suites pending for product failure. The only reason you get even one star is that fact that they don't allow you to do negative stars.

MAN is that so much easier said than done! As I lingered for awhile at 9/10 centimeters, I was becoming more and more tired, scared, and indecisive on my next steps for bringing my son into the world. Every contraction made me less confident that I could do it, but Dr Lao was one of the 3 in the room who reassured me and helped me through! My biggest praise has to go to her CALM CALM demeanor. What a difference that made! She was incredibly patient with my indecisiveness, never pressed me for what she wanted over what I wanted, but also (so) kindly gave her recommendations and gave me both the space to think things through and all the options before me. She also took great care and extra steps in physically delivering my son, and honored my wish to delay cord clamping until the cord turned white. Never with a hint of annoyance either. Thank you Dr. Lao!!

If I could give Dr Jeffrey Johnsrud zero stars I would!!! He is absolutely the WORST surgeon/…read moredoctor I have ever encountered. He performed a routine surgery on my dad, and completely ruined his life. His surgery was supposed to be an outpatient surgery, quick and an easy recovery.... Boy was that a lie with Johnsrud as the surgeon. My dad was admitted to the hospital where he suffered horrible complications due to a mistake performed during surgery by him. My dad suffered excruciating pain and extreme weight loss for 9 months following this "routine and safe" surgery. He had to undergo numerous nerve block procedures, and additional surgeries to correct his mistake. The entire 10 months this doctor was rude, inconsiderate and Gave my family the run around of "it will get better". But guess what?! It didn't get better!!!!! Finally my dad went to see a doctor at cedar sinai who confirmed what we all knew... Johnsrud did a botched surgery and it needed to be corrected. Once the dr performed her surgery she was astonished at what she found on the inside... The original mesh used to hold the hernia in place was not even intact! It was found balled up in his lower abdominal cavity, causing cuts all over!! The hernia was NEVER repaired, and the damage he had caused was life threatening. This man is a horrible doctor and has ruined my dads life, forcing him into early retirement and almost killing him. If you value your loved one, or your own life... Do NOT go to him for any surgery!! Do your research first.
