The flatbread was nice and crispy with a good flavor for something pre-made and just needed to be heated. But the highlight of my visit was the Autumn Heat tea. The "Heat" refers to the spice level (one of the ingredients is Hot Honey), you can choose for it to be served hot or cold. I chose to have it served hot. I really enjoy spicy food and drinks. This tea was very spicy! If you enjoy spicy foods you should give this one a try. Otherwise, I recommend you pass on this one! As normal, the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable about what they sell, and polite. Always a pleasure to shop at The Book Rack.

This bookstore jumped out at me, and I knew I needed to take a look. Having a very young niece, I'm constantly on the hunt for books to enrich her developing mind. I hit the jackpot with this place! The owner has a wonderful spirit and is exceptionally helpful in showing a new customer around. I love a small business with passion for its offerings, it's critical for the atmosphere to be just right. You can feel the passion in this space. Having done a lot of my shopping online over the last few years, I don't often venture into shops. But this one pulled me in and rewarded me with a bounty of books for my darling girl, and I'll be taking trips to this area, specifically with the store in mind! Some books are rare little gemstones, one of a kind treasures. A used bookstore, I suppose, should feel old. I enjoyed walking through the aisles looking up at all the various titles. The employees stayed by the front desk - a couple older men who were exchanging stories of tulip festivals long since past. Not only does it have small town flare, but it also has the largest assortment of used books that I've personally seen. The store sits inside a small house on the main strip of San Juan Island. It looks tiny from the outside, but, oh wow, does it hold entire worlds inside. There's a multitude of rooms all themed after each genre. You'll find everything from cookbooks, history, fantasy, young adult, sci-fi, history, fiction, self help, and autobiographies. Like other reviewers have mentioned you might have to do a bit of digging, as most of the books are stacked since they do not have the space on the shelves. Something else to note is that they do not allow food and drink inside, but they do have the cutest fireplace for you to place your hot coffee or tea on to keep it warm. Highly recommend checking out this spot when you're on San Juan Island, and be sure to stop by next-door to pick up a homie style lunch.

Seaport is the smallest among the three, but it is packed with great selections in a great location with great people. Seaport is a great spot to browse and pick up a book to read by the water in La Conner or take back home as a memory.
