+ very high quality + very delicious…read more+ food is prepared in front of you + very entertaining + social activity (table is often shared with unknown people) + very friendly staff + rather cheap lunchtime specials + Japanese drinks (optional) - expensive - time-consuming I've just recently been at Manyo's. Every time it's spectacular and outrageously tasty. It's a very good way to show others what food in general and restaurants should be like - joy for all senses. Especially recommendable are the multi-course meals (Akane, Wakana etc.). I've never had better beef than here and even tofu is okay, which I usually tend to avoid. Fish is delicious as well, of course. Moreover, the desserts are a feast for eyes and palates and the chefs try to explain the whole procedure while throwing food around. Due to mixed tables you often get to talk to other intrigued guests. The atmosphere combines traditional Japanese elements with very modern ones. Mind you it's not a sushi-bar, but a Japanese restaurant that also serves sushi. Conclusion: Must-see! One of the best ways to spoil one's palate. But save some money first.

I would say that the balance between price and quality of food is very value. Ten portions are good considered and at the end you wont have the feeling that you ate to much. It is the perfect size! If you come at the time as a typically japanese (early) to the restaurant you don't need any reservation. If you come a a German, please give them a short call and reserve a table. They speak very good japanese, though and the Germany is outstanding good. Everything is original and the support and service is perfect for a dinner with your be loved!

I didn't understand her initially but said no. I guess it would have been too much of a scene to ask us to leave, especially since everyone coming in after us had no reservations. Our order was taken promptly, the food again was high quality and delicious. When time for the check, the staff ignored us for an hour. I sent my children back to the hotel after 20 minutes as it had been a long couple of days of activity and travel. I waited an entire hour for the check after others who had come after me ate, paid and left. I could have left cash but wasn't sure if taxes were required and didn't want to pay too little. I drank 3 carafes of water while being ignored. As it got closer to closing and after I had to use the restroom, the manager/server finally made eye contact so I could request my check. If you are black or brown, DO NOT come here. Yoshoku is very close but was completely full when we went. That food looked just as delicious and I suspect won't come with a healthy serving of racism and disrespect.

I've travelled the world and had ramen in all corners, and this place ranks within the top 5 places I've tried. It is right next door to a pho place, and they're run together. We had the gyoza (in a sublime drizzled sauce), the beef spring rolls (drizzled in a lite fish sauce), and the Shoyu ramen, with pork base. Everything was amazing and we would come back here in a second if in Nuremberg again. Supremely delicious!
