I requested a 15 yd dumpster on a Thursday and he said it wasn't available to be delivered until Saturday (which is when we already wanted to start working). We left our house at 3:00 pm for an event that day and it still hadn't been delivered. I had emailed to get my initial quote, so I responded to the person's email asking if I was expected to pay for a full day considering I don't know what time it even came, only that it was after 3:00. I emailed twice and got no response. It's not easy for me to make calls during business hours which is why I tried emailing. I finally gave up and called today to ask about that first day it was delivered as well as schedule pick-up for after the weekend. Both times I've called he has seemed distracted by children frequently interrupting the conversation. I understand working from home (I do as well), but he's running a business. I don't know if previous 5-star reviews were with a different owner, but I'll absolutely never use this company again. It was delivered same day, person on the phone communicated very well and I asked them to put it in a specific place in front of the yard and it was perfect. I absolutely will use them again. The owner was very responsive and didn't leave anything out. We knew how much it would be up front and how much it would be if we went over or added extra pieces in. You can keep the dumpster up to 10 days which we found amazing. They were super quick with picking it up as well. I rarely leave reviews however, my experience with Hippo Disposal left me no choice. Long story short we had a flooding in my basement due to a burst pipe. Everything was ruined. With the stress that came along with the disaster now comes the clean up. We called every dumpster company in RI. We needed a dumpster ASAP. All the other companies said one or two days before they can have a dumpster at my house. I thank god I came across Hippo Disposal. My wife called and from the moment the rep answered the phone the experience was amazing. The representative explained himself clearly and answered all our questions and believe me we had a lot of questions lol. We never dealt with a dumpster company so we really didn't know what to expect. As for me the most important thing was to have a dumpster at my house like yesterday.
