She was ordered by this guy to take several tests and X-rays done to find the cause and he diagnosed her for months that she had "pancreatitis". CANCER. we didn't find out from him though, in June she was experiencing lots of pain, lost so much weight, couldn't eat right so she admitted herself to the ER and was told there she had stage 4 gastric cancer...my mom went from 135lbs to 70lbs. THIS man couldn't not figure out it was cancer?? And even when we did go to follow up meeting with him after her diagnoses, he wasn't even in there for more than 5 mins with my mom and he was gone. It is clear that the correspondence team is failing to contact the doctor, creating a dangerous gap in patient care. My husband has been without life-saving medication for 3 months due to these administrative failures. This is not a doctor issue; this is a systemic failure of Healthy U's communication. I called at 10:18 in the morning to be told I'm 72 in the queue another time in November it was 80 something. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Making an appointment thru the portal was INACCURATE & UNACCEPTABLE soonest was March. I originally had an appointment scheduled for a Tuesday, due to construction it was canceled. I found out online when doing the online "prepare for your visit". IF you're going to cancel an appointment, YOU CALL THE PATIENT AND RESCHEDULE. It got so bad I Went to the ER a few days ago & Was told it was a 6 hr wait. Went to THREE health care clinics and the consultations alone were $215- $275!!!!! This place consult was $45! I was able to be seen right away, get antibiotics and cough syrup there, nebulizer treatment, blood sugar test, and work note for $190! If I want to, I can come back within the week to opt for an antibiotic shot without a consult fee. I immediately feel better after the breathing treatment and just took my first pill of antibiotics. Many communities/ the whole country needs more places like this. Staff was very helpful and kind and Dr. Nguyen was awesome.
