UPDATE SINCE THEY DELETED MY REVIEW ABOUT PLASTIC MELTED IN MY TIKKA MISALA FROM 2022... mad weird as a company btw.... I went to Himalayan cafe multiple times throughout my time of living in Monroe. Service when eating in is great TOGO on the other hand there was PLASTIC melted into my food on multiple occasions and I finally had enough and took photos. Also the manager did nothing to try to make it right instead I'm seeing that they have deleted my review with proof of plastic melted into my food. Also on multiple occasion they would serve the lentil soup in a styrofoam container so hot that it would melt the styrofoam... just spare yourself and find a better less shady restaurant...

    Butter Chicken and Saag Paneer

Stopped in while I was passing through. Great Butter Chicken and Saag Paneer. I am doing keto so I asked for no rice or Naan. Wonderful service from Subash! I will be back!

Lunch buffet: Gobi manchurian, paneer butter masala, sambar, dosa, cheese balls, paneer rice, pakodas, and much more!

Absolutely delicious and fantastic selection! I was worried there wouldn't be many vegetarian options in the buffet but I was very impressed! The dishes were delicious and well worth it. Will definitely be coming back!

Food was very good. Good service and pleasant setting. I had the Vegetarian Thali and it was ample. Just wish it had been served with naan.

Location: 5/5 very spacious and clean, enough parking space. Staff: 4/5 They we're nice, they explain what's in their menu, the only thing that made it 4 is that they don't check you often and ask what you need. Food: 5/5 We had C Momo and Chili chicken for appetizer and it was spectacular! Those who likes spicy food would love this. Its not hot, it's just fine. For the entree we had chicken tikka and basmati rice and it is good as well. They serve the food from pot to your table, you can taste it's freshness. Price: 5/5, its very affordable.

The Lekali Khasi ko Masu is absolutely delicious. I ordered it on Waitr and got $5 off using code Local5!

It all is delicious and they prepare the food fresh daily. Everything is made to order. The service is amazing. You are welcomed and made to feel at home as soon as you walk in. The owners are wonderful people and active in the community. They have a grocery section where you can purchase items to take home and cook if you so desire. The booths are comfortable, and there is enough seating. The decor is sparse but when the food is this good, you don't need decor.

We…read moreused to live in Houston where there's a huge Indian community, so we've tried a lot of Indian food before and kinda know what to expect. The place is decorated really nicely. One thing I noticed is all the figures and little trinkets on the walls actually looked clean and not dusty, which tells me they take care of the place and clean well. It was pretty busy, but there was no wait. The server was nice and quick too. He was handling all the tables by himself and still made sure we were okay the whole time. They had a pretty good variety on the buffet -- curries, soups, salads, different meat options, and even chai. The restaurant is also connected to a grocery store, and from looking around they seemed to have a lot of stuff, so if you need to shop too this is probably a good spot. I also saw they have a bar area, but I'm not sure if it was open or not. Overall, everything was okay. Nothing super outstanding, but the buffet concept is good and convenient. I'd come back again.
