While she did a fair to decent job in cleaning up my garden but she kept asking to get paid before…read moreshe finished the job. We agreed to pay her for 2 hours. After 30-45 minutes I told her that I needed to step out and would be back in about 20-30 minutes. She immediately asked if I could pay her. I said I would pay her when she finished. I got back in 30 minutes and she again asked to get paid...and again before she was done and before the allotted time. Again I said I would pay her when she finished. About 10-15 minutes before the end time she asked again to get paid. When she finished I gave her a check along with her business card and she asked "don't you need the card". I told her that I was offended by the number of times she asked to get paid before she finished and that I don't need her card. She said that I didn't like her the minute she walked into the house and went on and on and on. She then contacted my girlfriend who had made the arrangements to get the gardening work done, to complain about this review (I added this after I posted the initial review) and also asked for an additional $25.00 saying she deserved it because she had spent the time. Unfortunately YELP's lowest rating is one star... she should either get zero (0) stars or minus stars. All I can say is STAY AWAY... we unfortunately failed to look at the other Yelp reviews before we started with her. Read them all then STAY AWAY. THIS IS MY REPLY TO HER REBUTTAL We had arranged for an early morning appointment which we only expected to get an estimate as to how much Ros would charge for the work. The night before we sent a text requesting that she send us a text in the morning when she was leaving so we would be prepared for her. I fail to see how sending a text, at anytime is any sort of intrusion. When Ros arrived she wanted to do the work immediately and although we weren't prepared for it, I cancelled an appointment to accommodate her. She would have had us believe that she got up at 6:45 in the morning for our meeting (12 blocks away). She worked on the front yard when I asked her to do that instead of spending her time watering the backyard (which is what she wanted to do). She arrived at my place at 8:13 and started working around 8:25 and finished at 10:30. I fail to see how that is worth $25.00 as I only agreed to have her work for 2 hours. Unfortunately Ros has demonstrated history, with other clients, of constantly asking for payment before the work was completed and her work with me is no different. I will not allow her to browbeat me for money that she DOES NOT deserve. My best advise is again STAY AWAY.

We were very specific that we wanted gravel/crushed rock no less than 1 inch diameter. We order our first 16 yard load which was delivered today. Instead of getting what we discussed, we got a load of sand with very little rock in it called the company to express our dissatisfaction, to which the person on the phone ...in short blew us off! Also, I believe they loaded by weight not yardage because what was dumped is probably only 10-12 yards instead of 16. We spent $500 and got screwed.
