I can't give a full review of this doctor, because I never actually saw him.
I arrived promptly on time to the office, but had difficulty getting in because the handicap entrance was blocked. Very odd for a orthopedist's office. I was told to climb up the stairs or that I couldn't get in. It wasn't easy, but I did it.
I filled our lots of duplicate forms, and was told that I had to pay for service before the doctor would see me. I paid my $30 co-pay be credit card, and waited for the doctor.
After 45 uncomfortable minutes in a tired waiting room that did not have the orthopedic chairs that are in most doctor's offices, I asked the receptionist how much longer I had to wait. Her response, "a while". After 15 more minutes of wincing in pain I asked if I could be brought to the examination room so that I could lie down while I wait. The initial answer was no, but ten minutes later they brought me to a exam room and I lied down. I waited an additional hour, still no doctor. Finally, nearly two and a half hours after I had arrived, I left without receiving any medical care.
Before I left, I let the receptionist know that I wanted a refund for my co-pay. She told me no. I called back to talk to the billing department, who told me that they had to talk to the doctor before I would get any refund. I checked my statement to see if the refund had been applied, instead that charged me another $60. I have left a number of messages, no response.
It's only $90, but I am really annoyed. They treat you like cattle in that place and the vibe is bad- I would stay away. read more
