We recently completed a 4 night stay at the Hilton Richardson Dallas. Great location centrally situated on Campbell Road and 75 Central Expressway. Easy on and off freeway access. The building is a high rise and our room was on the 14th floor. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I choose the Hilton over the Renaissance where we stayed last time because they have a restaurant that was open. Even though their breakfast, lunch and dinner item choices were simple it was adequate to satisfy hunger pangs. A couple of improvements such as some floor towels and glasses in the room would have been nice. The hotel provided them after our request. Service was good and there is plenty of outdoor parking (unsecured) hence parking was free.

17th floor has a lovely banquet room for rent. View of Richardson and downtown Dallas is fantastic.

Did you know that you can rent a cozy banquet room on the 17th floor of the Hilton Richardson? Our group did, and the view of downtown Dallas was visible in the distance. The room has a circle flow with tables and chairs of different varieties wrapping around the perimeter to take advantage of the view. The center area has a counter area that could serve as a coat check, but in this occasion it was a bar. We had two bartenders serving drinks for our reception. The decor has dark wood bookcases filled with large leather bound books, vases and tasteful baubles. There is a small kitchen area too. Servers had put out chaffing dishes on a few tables where out guests could help themselves to some hot food like meatballs, small gyro sandwiches, and skewers. Parking at the venue was plentiful, so it was surprising to find that they charged for parking. Fortunately our group paid for it, but we had to jump through some hoops to do so. The reception desk gave us a card. The card was provided by a third party who took car of parking payments and security on the property. We had to use the QR code on the card to visit a site where we had to provide our name, cell phone, and license plate number. If you didn't have that last bit of info, it automatically charged you a service fee. Thankfully I had a picture of my license plate on my phone, so I was able to enter everything including the free parking code. I did receive a text indicating the 2-hour time window that I was allowed to be there. I'm happy to say that I haven't been inundated with additional texts which I was concerned about. The property overall seems to be in good condition and is easy to access right off of Highway 75 and near George Bush Tollway. I would definitely accept an invitation to attend an event here again.

I can't sing higher praises of the staff and accommodations this hotel provided us. In the morning, Carmen always gave warm greetings and conversation. In the evening,  Robin was very friendly and even helped to find the extra bread pudding after clean up!  At the bar, Kevin was terrific.  Very personable while providing excellent service. We had excellent bell hop service in the elevator (I'm sorry I forgot his name!). Staff was helpful in giving us recommendations for dinner. Checking in was very easy; the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. We had a problem with our TV remote, so after reporting it, we heard a knock on the door, and surprise! A new remote was handed to us. Not new batteries; not someone coming in to check it out. An immediate resolution to the problem! The only things we didn't like were the lack of microwave in the room. And that the large desk took up a lot of real estate and did not have a drawer. Finally, there was no hotel pen or paper. But those little things are just that, little. We are definitely coming back!

Big fat bed bug engorged with my blood

BED BUGS. I woke up at 430a itching tremendously and realized I was covered in bug bites. I lifted the mattress to discover I had been sleeping on a soiled mattress with blood stains and bug feces. They just slapped a sheet over it and thought it would be fine! I went to the front desk to complain, because they were conducting a night audit they couldn't move me to another room, and no manager on staff would issue a room refund, credits, or a new room. It's been over 24 hours and no management has reached out about the bugs. They're just letting people stay in those rooms because it's a busy weekend! Time to call the health inspector. When I called for a third time asking for a manager, they told me no one was available and rudely suggested I review this place online.

Attended a private conference this past weekend and was blown away by the staff and facility!! Such a welcoming experience and we were so well attended to by management all the way down to housekeeping. The food was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facility was beautiful. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

This is my all time favorite hotel! Such awesome and pleasant employees. A woman who worked the night shift Wednesday was so kind and patient with my child and I. We got into town late around 11pm and she had such a welcoming vibe. Very helpful. This time I was here for 3 nights and Chris at the bar had held the smile on his face every time I've seen him. The little store downstairs has toiletries, candiess, plenty of energy drinks and all the snacks I could want. The restaurant is very tasty and fast. The rooms are always clean and beds are amazing. I can't wait to come back!

Sadly no fire on such a cold perfect night

Night: So I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. Paying for parking in a regular not preferred area was my first sign this hotel has issues. The room was not in the best condition but not terrible so that's positive and the drinks and pizza at the bar were pretty good. I noticed while at the bar that the bar tenders took empty bottles back to the kitchen vs scratching the label and throwing them away as required. This leads me to assume and I said assume they are refilling bottles which is illegal. Also and annoying they did not have the fireplace on and it's pretty cold out tonight. Morning: I slept like a baby even though the road noise was kinda loud. I probably wouldn't stay here again but it wasn't terrible. I did hear other people complaining about their rooms so I may have just been lucky.

Hilton Richardson Dallas has friendly staff from the front desk to restaurant. 4 stars because it was a pretty good stay but wasn't great. Nothing really stood out there. The sheets didn't fit well on the bed and the pillows weren't comfortable.

Sorry nightstand not wiped down

DONT visit this property win ANY expectations. Especially if you ate accustomed to the Hilton Brand. This property is a joke for Hilton Brand. If you don't mind waiting 15 minutes for an elevator to take you from your floor to the lobby, staying in an un-clean room with stains on night stand, hair in bathtub, rude front desk personnel, and not being able to utilize digital key service, this is your spot! The worst Hilton Experience. What is sad, it's a good property and up to date, just woefully mismanaged. They have major elevator issues. 3 elevators and one working and they are putting guest on the SERVICE elevator. Last time I checked, I'm not service staff.

First room had a possible bedding issue so we switched rooms. The second one had a chair that was a little loose, but didn't need to use it. The room itself is spacious with 2 beds, sofa, desk, bench and small kitchen. The coffee machine is available 24 hours but went a little crazy when I arrived. It was fine in the morning. The breakfast was ok. It was skimpier than what I experienced at the Element - Harrison, NJ. The hot breakfast station offered an omelette with 2 veggies and 2 proteins. The turkey bacon looked like a fruit roll up so I took a bite and tossed it. The yogurt bar was really good. My bread was better here since I toasted it. They also offered hardboiled eggs, fresh fruit, oatmeal packets, cereal and muffins too. The hotel had a decent amount of guests, but breakfast just felt skimpy in comparison to the other location I visited. They have a gym, pool, nice lobby and free parking. This hotel was centrally located, ok priced and ok customer service (nice front desk girl at check-in, but didn't really interact with the checkout guy). I would consider staying here again.

Looking forward to many more stays here!

The room itself was clean, but the overall feel of the property seemed a bit worn. The carpet and lobby areas looked dingy, and the decor felt somewhat cheap. While nothing was outright dirty, the atmosphere didn't feel as fresh as I would have wanted or expected. On the positive side, the bed and pillows were comfortable enough, and I slept reasonably well. The location was good in that there were plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance, including sushi, BBQ, seafood, and Mexican options. That aspect made it very convenient during a busy conference schedule. One downside: several of my colleagues experienced no hot water throughout our stay. I personally only had warm water, but it sounds like it was a broader issue. Overall, it was a decent stay for work due to the location, but the property could use some updating and better maintenance to improve the overall experience.

It was my first time at this Aloft location…read more Admittedly Aloft isn't my favorite of the Marriott chains, but I felt like it was on par with other Alofts I've stayed around the United States. I checked into the hotel around 6pm on a Sunday. The reception area was not busy at all, so I quickly got checked in by the friendly front desk staff member. Appreciate when my room preferences listed on my Marriott Bonvoy profile are honored. Bonus points for getting a considerably big room especially when I was staying 4 nights. I also had a nice view of the CityLine plaza below, which offered a decent selection of eateries. In general I had no issues with the room. The bed and pillows were comfy, so I had restful sleep each night. I was surprised by how many channels the TV had, including premium networks, so I didn't miss out on any shows. HOT WATER IS A PROBLEM! My shower was incredibly finicky. I would have to turn the handle all the way to hot, which didn't feel very hot. Then when I hopped into the shower the water would be scalding. I would have to turn the handle the slightest to cold to maintain lukewarm. On one day, the water wouldn't heat up at all and I had to take cold showers. On another day, the warm water turned to cold in the middle of the shower. I found that this was not only a problem for me, but also for my coworkers. The fitness room was tiny and had limited equipment. There were a couple of cross trainers, treadmills, and stationary bikes; one weight rack; one multi-functional power rack, and a couple of medicine balls. They had padded pilates mats, which was good for floor work if you could find the space. I used the gym around 6:15am and was the first person there. All the equipment quickly filled up.

Found this hotel using Hotwire by selecting the price and viewing the property name afterward. For just under $50/night, we secured a room here for a mid-week trip to Dallas. This place is somewhat hard to find if you don't know where it is: the sign is small, and it's nestled behind a few buildings. Just turn in when you see a Wendy's, and you can get there fairly easily. Your GPS might get a little confused though. The unremarkable exterior did not prepare us for what we found when we opened the doors here: double french doors open to a high-end-looking lobby, complete with library, several sitting areas, and a fireplace. Front desk is attentive and quick, friendly and courteous. We were immediately helped and on our way to our room within minutes. The room was clean and bigger than expected, with a full size refrigerator, two-burner stove complete with dishes, and a flat screen TV and super comfortable bed. We were nearly late to check out, we slept so well; which rarely happens for us in a hotel! The property itself is very well kept- there's an interior court yard with a gazebo and a pool. Wish we'd brought our swimming suits, because it would have been fun to relax there. Courtyard itself is full of green trees, grass, and flowers, and is well-maintained. Property also has a small fitness room, with towels provided, featuring a weight bench, treadmill, stepping machine, and a bike. As i said, we booked for about $50/night through Hotwire and were really impressed with the quality of this hotel and the customer service. Would go out of our way to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend, especially at that price.

Outdoor pool that looked nice. Since this is extended stay they change sheets once a week. You can take your towels to the front desk for an exchange. For 64 bucks a night, it works. A bit outdated but it was clean and serviceable. I think this would be good if you had your extended family visiting and they needed a place to stay. We brought our own towels, what they had was ok, just a little thin. Free wi fi, althought you could get an enhanced package and it would have run faster. We would stay here again. It fit the bill for clean, quiet place.
