Didn't stay here! But this is the only place I can leave a review for this secret little bakery…read morewithin the hotel that anyone can Goto. Such a cute small place which a is accessible from the outside, they have a wonderful assortment of sweet and savory mouth watering items, drinks are coffee, teas, wine and beer. Of course midday I was thinking bubbles ! It took me a hot second to decide from the choices what to eat, so I went with the orange and raisin scone and my glass of bubbly. Also had some toast as it looked so good freshly cut. They have a nice seating area next to the cafe inside or several tables and chairs outside, and as nice as it was outside I went out. Loved the carbs here! The scone was crumbly and zesty, studded with raisins. Washed down well with my glass of bubbly, coffee would be great too! The toast was thick and chewy and so good, not processed tasting at all, freshly baked with good ingredients. Sat outside with lots of birds eager for me to drop something, but I ate every crumb. So delicious. Great place to get a snack anytime. Trust me the choices will leave to wanting to go back.

I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time and and was accommodated with my Marriott Gold Status. After completing some documentation I was provided my keycard and was given a guided tour to my room. The room was in nice condition and had a work desk which I needed. I turned on the thermostat as it was warm upon arrival. I attempted to set my room temperature to 18C but it would only allow me to set at 19C minimum. I went out to see the town for a few hours and came back and the room was still quite warm. I notified the staff and the offered to move me to a cooler room which I accepted. The second room was nice as well but was much cooler. The hotel is conveniently located in the Helsinki City Center and many destinations are walkable. This hotel has two places to eat, a bakery and a breakfast restaurant (buffet-style). I didn't attempt to eat here outside of breakfast as several restaurants are also located within walking distance. I can't say enough how polite and pleasant the staff is here. Four stars!

Unfortunately, the dinner staff at the restaurant are truly awful (in contrast to the breakfast team who are sunny and helpful). Sofia from the dinner staff was unbelievably rude - I am not sure why she's in this industry. It is the first time I have felt discriminated against in all my years of travel for business or pleasure. Anny, her manager, took her side without even listening to me, which left me shaking with indignation. The hotel could also do with more people manning the front desk phone as there is no one that picks up - but that is something that can more easily be sorted out.

Clarions probably one of the tallest buildings in Helsinki thus the great view if you pay extra for " superior view suite" there's a pool at the roof which is great but the temperature could've been warmer even in the summertime which is pretty windy up there on the 16th floor. The hotel as a whole is gravely understaffed. And if you're like me you like a nice cool room in the middle of August that has air condition running well. If not you may want to look somewhere else because the air conditioning there is definitely substandard. We had quite the situation with the air condition in the time I was there. It was actually colder outside than it was in the room. Pretty overheated. Because of Covid there was no room service which kind of stunk even though prices were not quite as bad as I thought they'd be. There's no assistance with your luggage by the way. There's no bellhop to help you up. You have to lug your own luggage up there and in my case I had two full-size cases in my carry-on plus some other luggage so it was not easy to have to change three different rooms before we had a room that had the proper air condition and even then there were still some issues trying to get the AC to work properly. The AC issue didn't get fixed for a full two days of the five days I was there. Having said that they did comp me on at least One day due to this issue and the fact that the Wi-Fi was down for two full days. Also it's good to note that they will allow deliveries of food to the hotel despite there's no room service however if you want to heat anything up there is one microwave in the entire hotel that's available to guests and it's in the lobby so you made to put yourself on display in the middle of the lobby to heat up your food at dinner time or whenever that might be. So beyond not convenient. The pool has panoramic views as well. They have I believe 16 speakers over the pool for great music however the music was only on some of the time which didn't seem to make a lot of sense and there was no staff on the roof at all and you couldn't order anything from the pool which would've been ideal situation. This is why I give it a rating of three stars for the view for the pool for the great sauna but the The understaffed team you could feel how awkward it was. Finally breakfast is included in any stay at this hotel's breakfast is pretty good. Decent selection most people will be happy with the choices.

We were having a few bumps in travel and got into Helsinki in the middle of the night. Our existing reservation said 24-hour front desk but... guess what? Didn't have one. Fortunately, I'd seen Radisson Blu on an app I used and so I called them up to make sure they did indeed have a 24-hour front desk. An hour later, our rental car was parked in their free parking lot and my sleeping 10-year-old and I were safe and sound, cozy and warm on a blustery snowy March night. Now, that said... this place is great and has beautiful views of waterways that come in from the Gulf of Finland. It's a little out-of-the-way from the main downtown but we really loved it. They had an amazing and clean sauna, a small but warm(ish) indoor pool, a delicious buffet breakfast with excellent coffee (included with our reservation but surcharge otherwise), and some fun foosball in the lobby. We used it as a base as it was closer to our friend's house in Espoo and we decided to stay more than that blustery first night because the front desk staff was so friendly and amazing!!! We'd stay here again if in Helsinki! Might see ya there!

We were dropped at Hotel Scandic Paasi which was near the train station and surrounded by lush trees and nearby markets and restaurants. The Hotel is a 3/4 star rated and they had wines and crackers at the table, as we entered a dimly lit and small welcome and check in counter. I was assigned at the second floor and to my surprise, I had a huge bathtub and while we are saving water in California, they seem to have plenty in Finland. After all, they shared that they're surrounded by lakes and rivers, located all over the country. The room was well decorated, sheets smelled really great and the room was perfectly prepared. Knowing that we have two hours of free time, I filled the bathtub and soaked like a king, the water was perfectly warm and all the elements of a well- supplied bathroom was present. Yay! The hotel didn't serve breakfast so we have to meet at a nearby restaurant or order a special from their canteen. However, wine was readily available at their wine room? So, if you happen to visit Finland on a business or to do research, Hotel Scandic would be a perfect abode for a few nights. I assure you, the water is plenty, staff were absolutely Finnish-pectful and nice. Kiitos (Thank you in Finnish)!

I appreciated the hospitality throughout the stay from messages before check-in and ease of check-in to having my luggage held as I explored the city a bit more between check out and my flight. Booking and check in were easy, and my room was fantastic. The space was just what I needed as a solo traveler with a quiet room, nice views, sense of safety, clean space, plenty of high quality amenities and products (toiletries, coffee/tea and an in-room machine, etc), thoughtful storage built in, and a comfortable bed. It was VERY convenient to everything I wanted to access, whether walking distance to sites and shopping on my list or very easily walkable distance to public transit for further attractions and the airport. I did not add the breakfast option as I wanted to explore different local places each day, but it did look lovely and the space where breakfast was held was inviting. Having the rooftop bar to watch the sunset was a fantastic bonus! I can't say enough how much I appreciated my stay at Klaus K and would highly recommend for any future travelers. I hope to come back and will absolutely stay here again!

They provided a full breakfast with my room, which was again fantastic. My room was roomy with a nice bed, all the things I needed, hairdryer, iron, safe, great bathroom. Everything worked! One of the biggest rooms I've stayed in Europe. The breakfast was amazing, so much variety, great fresh bread, coffee, hot breakfast, pastries, fruit. Way too much to eat! Super clean as well. They have a nice Italian restraint attached too, I had the best Affagato here. They have a small bar area by the reception, they have wine , beer and cocktails, and they let me watch the euro soccer finals here ! Great little place as I didn't want to Goto a crowded bar. Loved I could walk everywhere, and was close to the train station for getting to and from the airport. Great hotel, great price, great service!
