So far, I have judged all Caribbean restaurants I've eaten at since my first visit at Hotspice precisely against Hotspice in taste and presentation of dishes and so far there is no match. My biggest regret is I live a whole continent and ocean away from this tiny restaurant that churns out amazing food. Along with my lady, we sat down inside the restaurant and ordered the Jerk Chicken and Ox Tail plates. Probably two of the best dishes I've ever eaten. I spend most of my days telling people how great it is to live in California, which It is, until you get the taste for Caribbean food and the best place you ever eaten It, you need a plane ticket to reach. A cruel fact, which will haunt my mind until the next time, Hotspice and I meet again.

I ordered Brown Stew chicken - it was amazing, good sized portions and very reasonably priced. The customer service was wonderful, they were very nice and accommodating. There was an inside and outside seating area; but we didn't stay as we took the food to go; but there were quite a few people sitting and they all complimented the food when they came in to pay. Considering the location isn't in an area with a great deal of footfall I can completely understand this however.
