And because they are only replacing the glass, it's only $100, which is way better than $300. Because why replace the LCD screen when only the glass is cracked? You need to call ahead so they can put your name in at the front desk, although I just showed up and the security officer called up for me and got me a badge to enter. They were able to diagnose the problem right away--corrosion in the charging port. He quoted me about $100, which seemed very reasonable, especially compared to the price of a new phone. Even better, he quoted me about 45 minutes to fix it. When I returned, it was ready. He showed me the old piece and offered it to me. He was very friendly and did not charge me extra for using my credit card. As others have mentioned, it is a little tricky to find--17th floor, turn left out of the elevator, right at the receptionist's desk, right at the end of the hall, and it's the last room on the right.

They transferred me over to Tmobile and I'm paying $50 dollars less than what I was paying with Sprint. While Vlad was helping me the owner came by, gave me a free case and even got me a bottle of water while I was waiting. I was having a problem with my bluetooth headset and the tech took a look and fixed it free of charge. Saved me $100 dollars because I was about to purchase a new pair at the store. These guys are great! Everytime I pass by when I walk to the train they always greet me with a smile and shake my hand. There isn't really anything like that anymore. You guys are awesome! I messaged them on Yelp and they were very responsive. They also had the lowest quote and fastest delivery time compared to other places which told me about 1-2 weeks. I went in to put a deposit so that they could order the screen for me. 4 days later they messaged me and told me I can come in to fix my screen. When i went in there, they said it'll take like 40 minutes to fix so I decided to have lunch around the area and came back for my phone afterwards. Phone screen was fixed. New screen is responsive to touch. Color is not bad either altho there is a small spot on the screen which is somewhat brighter. Its not really noticeable for me so I don't really care. Phone screen protector and case was supposed to be free, but since they don't normally carry Huawei products, I got a free case for my sister instead who had a Samsung phone.

I took my Iphone 6 Plus here because my original quote through yelp for this place was the most reasonable. When I went to actually get the work done, the man I met with said that the home button needed to be replaced as well. This brought the price up by $30. Okay fine. Only thing is, he failed to tell me that the replacement button 1. Would not function the same as the original 2. Would not support touch ID. I got my phone back and not only did the home button not work, but the sensor (near the front camera) did not work either. Whenever, I made a call and placed the phone to my ear, it would not know to turn the screen off, so I ended up "ear dialing" other contacts while already on the phone. I took the phone back complaining about the issues and the gentleman who repaired it insisted that I had had some prior repairs which contributed to the sensor not working. He also said he forgot to tell me that touch ID would not work on the replacement home button. He offered to put my old screen back on and return my money. He sifted through cracked screens and produced what he insisted was my original cracked screen. It was not my screen, my screen was so destroyed that it could not be reattached. This was why I was so confused that he would offer to put it back on. After saying repeated that the mildly cracked screen he had pulled out was "100 percent" my original screen, I asked him to look again. He finally found my actual screen which had chunks of glass falling off(as I remembered it) and said oh, okay, here is your screen. When he pulled off the new screen, he found that there was a sticker covering the sensor and that was why it was not working. He apologized and asked if I wanted to proceed with putting the old screen back on now that he'd realized the issue. I told him it was fine to keep the new screen on, as long as the sensor worked correctly. All in all it was a huge hassle, and I have to press home repeatedly AND hold my phone at a certain position to get it to turn on from sleep mode. Hopefully, I'll never be in an emergency situation where I need my phone to make a call right away.
