It is really hard to write a review for a funeral service, but here I go. I had a good experience myself, but I did not have to go through the burial/funeral process. I just needed a cremation, but my situation was unique, and they were mindful of that.
They did everything for me. I had to make arrangements for my dear friend who had no family in his life aside from a estranged uncle. They filed the paperwork and tracked down his lost uncle to sign off on the cremation. They were so kind when I informed them I would be paying for the service instead of the uncle.
The gentleman was so nice to me, so patient and so understanding. While he did try to sell me unnecessary extras, he did not press me too much when I declined. I explained that my friend was a Taoist, and believed in simplicity above all else. It would be a insult to his memory, and his choice of lifestyle to shove him in a silver, engraved urn. He wanted ashes spread.
I was told more than once that he would be there night or day to talk about anything with me. He gave me his cell phone number and said I could call anytime for any reason. He also had information on grief counseling and the like.
They really made the process easy for my family while we were in a storm of grief. read more
