If I was to send along a suggestion or three, I would mention that A) the washroom fan is very loud B) the sliding washroom door only opens halfway easily. The next half needs a bit of strength and the handles in the door or 'sharp' and actually hurt my hand when trying to open the door. C) the blinds in the caboose serve as privacy blinds only. Once the sun was up, so were we. 6:00 am is not my ideal waking time when on vacation. There ya go. Visit the trains, but bring a sleep mask with you!!!! Looking forward to visiting again.

The internet wasn't working well and the tv was not connecting to Netflix or other channels. The service guy tried to fix it but could not. The housekeeping was inconsistent. Difficult to set the shower temperature. Bed and linens comfortable. The grounds are pretty and well landscaped. The property sits right on the water with beautiful views. There are several common areas that offer cozy couches with coffee tables. The adjacent restaurant is not cheap but their food was delicious - my halibut was perfectly cooked with lots of finesse. Their lobster bake was rich, creamy, tasty and came with toasted pesto pita slices - it was worth the $18. Breakfast is included and was good. Cereal, bagels, yoghurt, juice, sausage and eggs toast, muffins etc. Short on fresh fruit though. Coffee was very good. Staff was friendly and service minded. We checked in late and were hungry and the front desk clerk found us some muffins. So...if you bring earplugs for sleeping you should be OK.

Conveniently located 5-10 minutes away from the PEI ferry, the breathtaking view of the waterfront and trees captures your heart as you drive up to the inn. We loved our two bedroom suite, which, while cozy, gave you balcony access and perfect view of the cliffs and ocean as the sun rose behind it each morning. The common spaces in the inn was comfortable as well, and Robert was a great host - very welcoming and prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning, and spent time with us to help map out our day to some fantastic off-the-beaten path spots of PEI. Highly recommend this inn, and definitely look forward to coming back.

The water pressure in the shower was low. I was lucky and got a room facing away from the highway so it was nice and quiet. There isn't much within walking distance for restaurants if you don't have a car; delivery options are limited. The hotel has pool, waterslide and hot tub. However the pool towels are kept at the front desk which to me is awkward. I went to the desk for a towel only to find a sign saying the agent has stepped away, but if you need service to call a certain extension, which did nothing. No one came. Eventually there were 5 of us waiting in the lobby for service. And really who wants to walk through the hotel lobby on their bathing suit to get a towel? It was weird. By the time the agent came back to the desk it was getting close to time for the pool to close. Overall a good stay. Nothing to write home about but not terrible either.

The hotel looks very new, I'm guessing it was built over the last couple of years, plus it is conveniently located off of the highway. My room was very clean and very spacious, plus it had plenty of amenities. I decided to take a dip in the hotel's indoor pool, which also features a water slide. My only complaint about that the pool was too shallow in the area that people would enter the pool from sliding. Continental breakfast was good and plentiful. Do consider staying here if you're passing through this part of Nova Scotia and need a hotel room for a night.
