West park senior living has a water leak in two spots gushing water. We called the emergency number…read morefor the golden state water company. Apparently a technician went to see and it was determined that it is a leak with the irrigation for the west park senior living facility. So basically this leak has been gushing for AT LEAST 4 days and the maintenance department for west park has done nothing. We went inside and spoke to Lorena (who seemed to be administering medication to a man entering the front door) and she could have cared less. The water company specifically said it's an issue of west park's! I also spoke to 2 residents who said it's been like that for a while and one man said west park "doesn't care and that the elevator in one part of the facility has been broken for 6 weeks!" So who pays for the enormous water bill for West Park? And all that wasted water?!? I'm just someone who was out walking and noticed.

The staff, the nurse, and the sales director are all easy to contact and are very helpful. I am quite confident that my Mom is getting great care and is safe. Family Home was such a blessing to my mom and our family. My mom saw the caregivers as her own…read moredaughters because of the care , attention and Love she received. Being here my mom became more like herself again. Being social with the other residents, eating good fresh food daily, the assistance and kindness of the caregivers was the best. This place kept my mom alive for the last 4 years with dementia, up until we had to put her on hospice care which she past away in the home. Don't get me wrong it takes a team effort to keep a person alive and strong in the senior care industry and most people think that they pay for care and are hands off after that, as it should run on its own. She loudly used profanity What was most concerning is that the administrator was present and did nothing to correct or address the behavior. In a healthcare setting, especially one caring for vulnerable memory care residents, professionalism, respect, and accountability are essential. Unfortunately, none of that was demonstrated. This experience raised serious concerns about staff culture, leadership, and how issues are handled internally. Based on what I witnessed, I would not recommend this facility and will not be returning.
