Everything is well taken care of and has a special charm. The owners are so friendly and helpful - they go above and beyond for their guests. The venue is also a great price, and has a convenient location (there are several hotels less than 5 minutes away). The beautiful fields behind the venue are perfect for photos as is the creek that runs next to the barn (if you are brave enough to dip your toes!). There is plenty of room at the venue including the lawns surrounding the barn which we used for lawn games. If you want an amazing venue for a great price in North Central PA - look no further!

Everything turned out perfectly. We had our ceremony by the lake with just a few family members and it was a beautiful day, we moved to the lodge for the reception, and everyone had a great time. The space was just the right size for everyone (we had 90 guests). The outdoor area had tables which a lot of guests spent time outside, which was very nice. The only thing I wasn't a fan of much was the food we chose (I myself am a VERY picky eater) but my guests said it was great!

She took the time to provide us with a tour of one of the most complete and original victorian homes built during the age of the lumber barron. What alterations where made to make it a B&B with a private bath for each room was done thoughtfully so no awckward showers in what used to be coat closets or anything. the rooms are eleganly decorated and furnished with out to much stuff that often gets cramed into every corner of most B&Bs. Great refreshments in the evening even better breakfast in the morning and plenty of local information and recomendations. As a traveler who tries to support small business I often feel like I am making a contrubution because not all of the places I have stayed really provide a complete and easy stay. This time the bargain was all mine.
