I was underwhelmed with the size of the bowl for the price. The customization options were good, and I was able to get some falafel in the midst of my greenery as well as a buttermilk ranch. Pickup was efficient. It wasn't a place that had a ton of other options, so the question is simply whether it's worth it to pay to have a fresh salad assembled for you. On the day I walked in, it probably was.

You can order any of the menu items as a salad or as a wrap, which I love! I ordered the Baja Salad (romaine, cherry tomato, sweet yellow corn, black beans, red onion, sharp cheddar cheese, tortilla strips, and spicy chipotle ranch). It was delicious, and the portion size was great too. I definitely plan to return for a quick, tasty lunch whenever I'm back in the Lynchburg area!

We were going to eat on the nice covered patio but the thunderstorm moved in and the rain was lashing in so we ate inside comfortably situated watching the light show outside. After eating we shopped for supplies in the attached natural grocery then headed home in the sunshine.

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit for the first time recently and ordered a chocolate caramel cheesecake protein shake. Their menu is composed of meal replacement protein shakes and loaded teas (energy teas). Both have many flavors to choose from! I am quite picky with my protein shakes and was hesitant to order one that I didn't either make myself or purchase pre-bottled, but I was so impressed with the flavor, texture, and overall quality of my shake! Many people avoid protein shakes because of a gritty texture and a noticeable protein powder taste, but these are so well done that you almost think you're having a milkshake! My only suggestion is that they need to play music or something in there because it is REALLY quiet and almost awkward to stand waiting for your shake (I felt the need to whisper). Additionally, I wouldn't have known this place existed if I wasn't so curious about new places opening up in Wyndhurst. I hope some presence on Yelp will change that because I highly recommend visiting. I'm planning on returning soon!

She consistently creates an inviting, positive experience for both customers and staff. Her professionalism, warmth, and dedication are evident every time she is on shift. During the brief period when Keri was out, the overall atmosphere noticeably changed. Customer service declined, and the drive‑thru was closed, which was disappointing. The individual covering her role did not demonstrate the same level of customer‑focused leadership that Keri brings daily. Keri is truly exceptional. Having worked in multiple fast‑food environments and management positions myself, I can confidently say that she is a rare find. She is hardworking, caring, and naturally gifted in customer service. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is fortunate to have her, and she deserves recognition and continued opportunities within the company.
