As a Nana to two wonderful grandsons--a 1 1/2-year-old and a sweet 8-week-old--I am always…read moresearching for high-quality, super comfortable baby clothing. This boutique has exceeded all my expectations with its innovative, solution-oriented products and outstanding customer service. One of my favorite finds is their adjustable magnetic closure onesie. I have bought nearly every pattern in newborn to toddler sizes. These sweet jammies grow with your little one, extending the life of the outfit. The foldover cuffs on both hands and feet extend its usability and ensure comfort and it is nice to have the option to fold over at nighttime. The magnetic closures make diaper changes quick and silent--an absolute lifesaver during the middle of the night as my daughter has stated numerous times now! Plus, the fabric (modal) is silky soft, breathable, and perfect for sensitive skin. My daughter and son-in-law literally dress the boys in these for daytime and nighttime now because they love them so much. Another recent purchase that was a hit is the Widgeon Polartec fleece coat, which I believe is a must have outerwear piece for infants and toddlers. I wish we had these when my kids were little. The flap-over-flap design with a hook-and-loop closure makes dressing and undressing frustration-free, while the double-layered soft fleece fabric keeps them warm and cozy. It's stylish, functional, easy to put on without a fuss from the boys, and has the hood attached with easy gathering to keep it around their face. The boys do not fuss at all when we put these on them and it is so easy and fast! What makes this boutique truly special is its dedication to exceptional customer service. They genuinely care about their customers' needs, making every shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free. The owner and her staff are so helpful and fun to shop with! They are going above and beyond to include classes for parents and on-going support. As a Nana, it brings me so much joy to find clothing that my grandsons love and that makes life easier for their parents. If you're looking for thoughtful, well-designed baby apparel that combines style, functionality, and sustainability, this boutique is the place to visit in Downtown Lee's Summit. I love being the Nana who brings home the best--and most-loved--clothing for my grandsons! Highly recommend!

I went to Wild Child Lee Summit this past Saturday, October 28th and it was my very first time…read moreselling and visiting this establishment. Customer service was fine; However, I will never sell/conduct business with Wild Child again due to the simple fact that I was unable to see or receive an itemized copy of the items I sold and the prices they were sold for/accepted for. I was told that they do not keep it in their system and they have no one way of going back. I have never worked with a consignment that did not keep records of their items/inventory sold to them regardless of the timeframe in which accepted or not accepted, which is quite baffling to me truly and to add the cherry on top, I received a total of $37 ($47 store credit) for the 22 items I sold and two of those items accepted were both from GAP, brand new, and never worn priced at $24.95 and $16.95 was quite baffling as well. The items I decided to sell today were brands like Nike and GAP that were unable to be accepted through the consignment shop which I typically do business with unfortunately, but I honestly wish I never conducted business with Wild Child nor accepted the offer as it was not a fair deal and should have just asked for the items to be returned and could have donated the items in the first place as I was going to, but you live and you learn and I definitely learned today lol. I personally wouldn't recommend this place of business when it comes to selling your items but all in all, I hope there is a family out there that will enjoy the items.

The OWNER Annie told me that I would need to them drop-off as she is able to do same day as long as it is before 2 PM (I was there at 11:37 am). I proceeded to pull out my phone to take pictures of the items due to her wanting to drop them off and she stated "I've been doing this 27 years, if you don't feel comfortable leaving them thinking I'm gonna take anything, I'm just going to have you take it because you don't have to this". I sensed she felt offended which was the last thing I meant to do, so I explained to her that it was for my comfortability as this was my first time doing a drop-off or anything with a consignment that accepts the brands listed on the website and had nothing at all to do with her or the business, it was just for me personally. She gave me a slip to fill out and as I started to fill the form out, I suddenly stopped as I then started to feel uncomfortable with her whole demeanor and how she spoke to me, so I said "Well never-mind, because now I am starting to feel uncomfortable" and she responded by saying "Well I really don't care" I asked for her name and she said very proudly "I am Annie, I am the owner". We left and I was just very disgusted with her and how she spoke to me and not to mention my son as we walked out stated "That was not nice"! I see why this business is rated 1.0. If that is how she treats customers let alone a first time customer, then she should perhaps reevaluate running her business because after 27 years of alleged business one would or should have developed great customer service.

I visited this store a few weeks ago and had one of the worst customer service experiences I have…read moreever encountered. I asked an employee if she could help me find the dress that was displayed on a mannequin in my size, as I had been unable to locate it on the sales floor. She told me that she needed permission to remove the dress from the mannequin and asked me to wait nearby. After waiting quite a while, I noticed another employee taking the dress off the mannequin while assisting two other customers. I approached her and explained that I had been waiting for that dress and had been told to stay nearby while the first employee got permission. She dismissed my concern, stated that no one had informed her, and proceeded to give the dress to the other customers. A short time later, I found the employee who was supposed to be helping me. She admitted that she had forgotten about me. When I tried to discuss the situation with both employees, they threatened to call security because, according to them, I was "making them uncomfortable." At that point, I left the store. It was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. I understand that this is a large retailer and that my review may not make a difference, but customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. The employees involved could have handled this situation much more professionally.

Finally another person arrived and helped us run sizes to the dressing area. But only when we sought him out. He was not attentive and no greeting. But during checkout it became disturbing because the guy behind the counter was downright creepy. I've attached a picture because a description just doesn't cut it. We couldn't understand a thing he was saying he would not speak up he was mumbling and his mask was so thick and large and his hair was hanging down you could not see his face at all. I think the company can do better with Representatives or tell this guy he needs to lighten up on his look at work. What was really an issue was the fact that you could not understand him or see his face. I'm not trying to pick on anybody for how they choose to look but when you're representing a store and you're behind the counter like this with your eyes hiding behind your hair and your face hiding behind a giant mask it's just not a good look.

This fantastic boutique doesn't have a ton of merchandise, but I want all of it. Well, not the ladies clothes, as I'm not a crossdresser. But if I were, I'd be a classy one and probably buy my clothes at George, too. Seriously, this store is nice! I'm impressed in particular by three areas: the pet stuff, their books and their dishes. Their little pet corner is small, but adorable. They had really great chew-toys, leashes, collars and dog bowls. The dog bowls would look fantastic in a modern home, and we plan on getting one of the collars for our pooch once her current one starts looking natty. Their collection of books is incredibly well curated. Lots of great cookbooks, cocktail guides and coffee table books. Also, they have a couple of kids books that certain parents would be way into, if you want your kids learning about CoCo Chanel and the like. Their dishes are all VERY nice (and quite expensive) and if I hung out with a higher tax bracket, I'd be hoping for wedding gifts from here. The store is just really pretty, as well. I was equally impressed with their fixtures and general ambiance as I was their merchandise. I'll be back for sure, as soon as I have some extra funds to spend on making my house look extra fancy.
