Each experience has been great until today. Why no outside food and drinks can be brought in when your employees don't work the concession seems a little counterintuitive for a business model and not something we'd encountered here before. I'd have stayed for a longer jump but I'm thirsty and after waiting at concessions twice, my husband was told no one is working it (by an employee). The female team lead is out here talking and laughing with another male patron while the birthday parties go on and the 5 other people jump. Each young kid out here has 1-2 adults with them so I'm not sure what's being supervised at this time. It's just not a 5 star experience when you pay full price for partial benefits. The website should be updated that Sunday toddler jump there will be no open concessions.

I was here because Plugshare told me that I might find a power outlet and I did, spending two hours with the van plugged in to pull some electricity and charge up the onboard battery. While plugged in, I did some wandering. The park has 10 artificial turf baseball fields and 4 grass fields, 19 soccer fields, a concession stand, picnic pavilions, restrooms, a tennis court and the 1.5 mile walking track. The driving range doesn't have much grass growing on it for warming up or practicing and the tee boxes do not have much grass making it frustrating to play. Plus they increased the green fees another $5 this year and the golf course isn't worth it. Unfortunately there are not any other options in Jonesboro for public play.

The highlights for me were being near the water, and the absolute gem of a camp hostess, Melissa. When my husband checked us in he said, "She's really friendly," and a few hours later I met her myself and had to agree. Plus, I got to meet the camp kitties. Shadow, the all-black mini panther, totally stole my heart. What a sweetheart. The campground was very quiet and peaceful, with free firewood and super clean bathrooms that are ice cold, which was a total win on a hot day. The showers are free and in great condition too. The entire park is tidy and well maintained. It's a dry park, so if you're planning to enjoy a cocktail by the fire, just be a little stealthy and bring a cozy. Civilization is about a 15-minute drive away, but still dry... so plan accordingly. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.
