The screened back porch features ample seating areas and a ceiling fan to keep things breezy. You will encounter mosquitoes, as you would expect staying in a forest, so bring mosquito spray and/or peppermint oils to deter. I made sure to rub peppermint on the kiddos when they were sleeping to keep them at bay. There are designated fishing areas and swimming areas. Also you can hike! Our little one enjoyed all of the various adventures and spaces in this area, and we will definitely be back several times over. My only thing is that it needs some maintenance and tidying up; I'm not sure how old it is (again, new to us despite us having a child for three years now), but there is definitely a good bit of wear and tear and some update that is needed to really make it spectacular. My cousin decided to break traffic laws, but I was not about to do that so I opted to go downtown in order to get turned around correctly and Park my vehicle the correct way. This park is clean and huge and has a ton to offer my kids and nephews and nieces really enjoyed the zip line as well as the slides and the super fun play areas. My older nephews opted to play a game of pick up basketball with guys. They just met wearing only the sandals on their feet. Luckily, no one broke their head open. The rest of us played a game of Pickleball close to the basketball court and enjoyed the shade as well as the many drinking fountains as Memphis police patrolled on their bicycle nearby.

She was very excited which made us excited to experience it! She first stop us at the counter to register/sign the waiver, pay, receive our socks (they are pre-worn FYI. I put them over our socks for my own personal comfort), and get a bucket to store our shoes. I went on a Saturday. It was $22 to play. This seems pretty expensive, especially if you plan to come often. She did share that they have Toddler Tuesdays for a discounted price. It's during the morning hours, so it wouldn't work for me. Once we were checked in, we went to the ball pit area that sits right in the front. There were a lot of bigger kids in there having a blast. Of course, this is where my 1 year old wanted to be (inserts shaking my head emoji). He had a blast in there. They have a toddler area as well. It was fun as well. I do wish it was closed off for the littles to run through freely and more safely. But, I got my cardio in so I am not made at it, lol! Overall, my little one had a blast here!

Spring has sprung! And what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than traipsing through the forest, like a chipmunk, with a pal! We hugged a tree so big that our (little) arms still had room between them! This park is magical, and apparently has owls, if you're into birding!

There's also an RV area with about 30 sites, and at only $20 a day, it's a fantastic deal. It wasn't full during our stay, which made it feel peaceful and uncrowded. My husband did complain about the mosquitoes, but oddly enough, they don't bother me as long as I'm sitting next to him, he's nature's bug spray, I guess. The camp host was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and we loved the little camp cats roaming around. One of them, Shadow, was especially adorable and even let us pet him. All in all, a great campsite with a relaxed vibe and some charming furry company. Would happily stay again.
