After Luz's the initial visit to assess my condo, I was very surprised of the quote she gave me because it was so inexpensive and affordable. I was a little nervous at first because, usually, you get what you pay for. However, her professionalism and attention to detail earned my trust. A week before the staging appointment, I had new carpet installed. Due to some error in ordering, I received a much darker carpet than what I was expected, and the dark carpet made my condo look smaller. I sent Luz picture of my new carpet and she assured me that she will adjust the furniture to suit the new color. The date of staging appointment, Luz showed up on time. As agreed in the contract, I left the condo to let her do the work. When I came home, I was so amazed by how beautiful my condo transformed into. From a simple condo, it now looks luxurious yet still warm and welcoming, not to mention so much bigger. Luz didn't overwhelm the place with a lot of furniture; she put just enough. Disappointed - Warning - Sandra from Fresh Home Staging requested a $4,000 deposit towards a total…read morecharge of $5,000 to stage my very small one-bedroom apartment. We agreed upon a $3,000 deposit as I thought a $4,000 deposit was too high. Luckily for me, my apartment sold off the market weeks before it was to be listed. My realtor contacted Sandra TWO WEEKS before the staging was to be done and she refused to refund all or any part of the $3,000 deposit. The contract did state non-refundable; however, it didn't seem reasonable that she would find it conscionable to keep the whole $3,000 deposit. My expectation was for a reasonable conclusion. Not to mention my realtor uses her often. She gave him no regard either (favor to a frequent client since she works with him often). Very disappointed in how Sandra handled this situation. Overall, bad experience, and I would not use this company again.

She's an excellent communicator -- very proactive -- and will use whatever means necessary to get in touch with you for updates, answers and decisions related to timing. I also found Sandra to be very flexible and understanding. She navigated delays, tight timelines, people/personalities, and whatever came her way with grace and ease. If Sandra gets stressed out or rattled, I never saw any sign of it. She was consistently focused on delivering a great outcome and doing so in a manner that very much kept us, her clients, at the center of that. It was a pleasure working with Sandra and I highly recommend Fresh Home Staging.
