Meet the Business Owner: Sam H.

Sam cut his teeth as a plastering laborer part time during high school in the early 90's. After learning the trade plastering countless ceilings in Boston's old neighborhoods, he went to work with a general contractor where he continued using his plastering skills and learned all aspects of residential remodeling. It was during those several years working in the older homes in Cambridge and Somerville, MA that Sam discovered a love of finish carpentry and woodworking. Since then he has remodeled, repaired and trimmed out homes in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. In his spare time, he loves to split wood. When he can, he loves to read history, theology, novels by Umberto Ecco, poems by Robert Frost and, of course, books related to the field of construction and sales. But above all, he is a devoted husband to the most beautiful, father of nine of the best looking children, and two of the smartest grandchildren.
