What really bugs me and gets this 1 star review are the FLOCK CAMERAS in their private parking lot. There is absolutely no reason for them to be at a DISPENSARY. The product is pricey and the cheap stuff is moldy, so definitely dont purchase that stuff. Its also pretty telling that the owner only responds to good reviews; they really dont care about fixing bad experiences. UPDATE: I emailed them asking for the reason why FLOCK CAMERAS are on their property, and was met with a "the person you want to talk to is out of town for the week" response and have yet to recieve any more info about that. Thanks to Yelp, I found the nicest local dispensary in one of the most relaxing places less than 20 minutes from home. Nestled on the Darcie Kent vineyards, Highlands is a nice unassuming building in the middle of wine tasting rooms and vineyards. How cool is that. Getting to Highlands is very easy, and parking is on the property. I knew what I wanted walking in and according to their site, it was in stock. You can order online as well and pick up there. Lots of options. The room isn't all that big, but it's got a nice layout and even a few seats to hang out and talk while your friends are in line. Very comfortable environment. The line wasn't too long. Maybe 2-3 minutes as they had 3-4 "budtenders" there. Really not sure that's what they should be called now as they're not handling flower directly as in the old days. Everyone working there was pleasant, everyone saying hello, and very patient. Purchasing was a breeze and you get to join their loyalty program too very quickly. It's so fast that you can do it while in line. And the cell service there is decent too. I won't make comments on prices. Everything in California from a licensed dispensary is expensive due to the state and local taxes, along with the excise tax. I will say that my days of trekking to dispensaries in San Jose, Hayward, or Oakland are pretty much done now that I came across Highlands in Livermore! read more

Installed flock cameras on the premises that collects licence plate and facial data, absolutely horrible to have at a dispensary where most people do not want to be observed going in and out. Huge violation of privacy, and at what cost? I will NEVER use this dispensary again due to the property being unsafe and unprotected. Very disappointing. The store is well-run, organized, safe, and the budtenders are always friendly and helpful. Nothing really special as a first time customer during my experience. The budtender sold me a product that had its THC percentage marked up, covering the actual percentage, which felt misleading. Delivery drivers are great. Staff are great. But seriously who is running this shit show? The website always has issues. I ordered a delivery last night to be delivered at 9 AM it's now past noon. They need to hire security guards that don't have such a big language barrier. I am 19 with a medical card and wasn't even allowed to ask if they accepted medical patients because the indian security guard didnt know anything i was talking about just kept saying "no" and I tried calling their number multiple times just said they were busy. I had one really great experience so I decided to come back here. In the past week I've ordered here twice and they haven't had the product I've ordered both times.... I feel like the inventory could be updated online to avoid that issue. Both times the employee said she noticed it was out of stock but didn't have a chance to call me yet. I arrived in my pickup window, so if you knew it wasn't in stock, it's a big inconvenience to have a customer drive to you and not have their order. They have a small menu as they are a boutique dispensary so it can be hard to find different products in the same price range or strain as what you had ordered.
