Funny, I noticed that many of you people giving these negative reviews DONT EVEN LIVE HERE!!! I have known Darlene the owner for years. She and her husband are two of the nicest, most honest individuals doing business in the Roxborough Community. Perhaps you are few underage out of town teens using fake IDs to buy alcohol and she chased you out? I have seen this woman pick up trash in front of her store and move carts back to the Safeway grocery store corrals that a bunch of lazy people like you probably left there. Her Rox Liquor store is always clean and well stocked. If there is something she does not carry, she will order it for you. That is what being a good business and neighbor is all about. I have NEVER heard her be rude to ANYONE, even when I thought they deserved it. SHE does not wear a mask because she has COPD and an asthmatic condition. The notice from the state is POSTED on the PLEXIGLASS at the register. Read it. Her other employees do wear masks/facial coverings. I walked to the refrigerator cases and scanned the available beers. I tracked down my favorite, Coors Light, grabbed a six pack of bottles and headed for the check out. I liked the fact I parked right near the front door and I found this liquor store to be clean and well organized. Their selection is pretty generic and if you comparison shop, their prices are higher than many other local liquor stores. I've always felt talked down to, but it didn't bother me until their sommelier leveled a personal attack against me online (attached picture). When I came into the store to seek clarification, the manager, Chris, acknowledged that their wine expert could "be a bit of a hothead." His words, not mine. If I were you, I'd look at better local options or shop at one of their competitors on Drizly. I hope this store improves because Colorado desperately needs good wine, beer, and spirits stores.
