At first glance, the funeral home is modern and quite large and the staff was professional, timely and compassionate. There were numerous chairs, sofas and flowers around with lots of Kleenex box everywhere. The decor of the funeral home was tastefully done and nothing loooked run down. The area looked well maintained and clean, in sad circumstance that people have to go through. They had multiple rooms and a huge sitting area that can accomodate even a big crowd. The sitting room had multple tables and tv's and the tv's inside that room also streamed the same clip that was being aired during the visitation and the funeral. They have two high tech coffee machines that grounds the beans on the spot for coffee drinks. The machine also offers alternative drinks to coffee such as teas and hot water. There were lots of stalls in the washroom to accomodate patrons. Parking lot is a good size, with the cemetary just behind the funeral home. It was snowing the whole day but the roads and the parking lot seemed to be well maintained. Staff made sure to assist you if you need help.

This is such a convenient location since it is right next to 404. There are ample of parkings. The grounds are well kept. The inside is nicely decorated. You really does not feel like you are at a funeral home. The Chapel that held the services has high ceiling, big windows that let nature light to come inand so roomy. Even the sound and visual system that set up for the services are excellent. Thanks for having all those tissue around on every roll of seats! I was crying a bucket of tears..........

I got the email for things to be pre-filled and the costing PDF so I was well prepared of what's available. We clarified the cremation process and paid for the service. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. As painful as it was emotionally, at least the arranging of the service was painless. Hopefully I never have to use their services again, but for people who needs a funeral home, this place is well established.

Comfortable and spacious viewing rooms and a nice little dining room to hold a reception afterwards. When we arrived at the funeral home, and were greeted by Carol at the front desk. She was very kind & was helpful despite being busy. She was the only staff member that we encountered that was compassionate. It just went downhill from there. We were then introduced to Caitlyn, who lacked any customer service skills. When we asked to go into the room, she was hesitant to let us in. This all happened well after the start time, so we were not inconveniencing them. At the end of the night, we lost track of time & she came barging into the room. She announced that it was past 8pm & yelled at us to leave. I was actually embarrassed for her. There's a way to politely ask guests to leave, this was handled very poorly. Our family also purchased light snacks for our guests. That included a tray of cookies & unripened fruit. The cost for the low quality "snacks" they provided was outrageous. We were told that we could not bring outside food as their insurance did not cover it. But low & behold, another party arrived with outside food & were allowed to bring it in. Thankfully our second night for visitation went a lot better. Different staff were on this night & were very kind. In all, our experience at Jerrett was unfavourable. Despite our grieving, we could not look past the disrespectful encounters with certain staff. They could definitely use some more training.
