Even the parking lot was trash free, and there weren't a lot of stray carts lying around (that could either be a testament to Walmart being on top of their game, or to the people of Ft Stockton just being very courteous.. We may never know lol). The interior of the store was a LOT smaller than I have ever seen, but it had the basics. Enough to be called a supercenter, I reckon. The people were friendly, and not just the employees. It appeared to be a true small town walmart, where everyone is just plain friendly to everyone. People of Fort Stockton, although you may not realize it you have a gem in this Walmart. Trust me, I have seen MUCH worse!!

Just when you think you've visited the worst Walmart in your life in another town.... whaam! , here…read moreyou arrive at the Walmart in Pecos Texas. Of course pretty much everything in Pecos Texas is overcrowded, run-down and expensive for what they really are. Except for Walmart! You get your standard Walmart prices but you do not have an automotive department, no 24 hours and even longer lines, but you do get to dodge Isles full of inventory that need to be broken down and items put on the shelves. Also, don't let me get started on the 20 plus people deep line because like overcrowded Pecos Texas everybody is trying to pack 10 pounds of crap in a 5lb bag, Walmart is no exception. This is one place that definitely needed to be a super Walmart. I'm going to hate to give this advice to you but the Family Dollar and general dollar down the road put this Walmart to shame. Now that you might have taken this advice, please do me a favor and do not go into these dollar stores until I am done finished and left this piece of a something town. I don't want my favorite places to get overcrowded. Oh, and before I go one more important thing, the parking lot! You think you're from Houston and driving /parking cannot get any worse than those Asians in Bellaire?
