We recently moved to TN and we were looking for a licensed electrician. I looked it up on Yelp and found Higher Power Electric. Flavius was very professional and attentive when I called him and asked about his service. He came to replace our chandelier in no time. His price was very fair considering the complexity of the work. We are very pleased with his service. We will definitely be working with him again in the near future. Highly recommended. read more

Although the gentlemen couldn't come out to see me Thanksgiving week, he was kind enough to return my phone call and walked me through how to troubleshoot my issue and it worked. I will definitely reach out to them for future electric needs. Solid customer service, thank you! read more

What a blessing Higher Power Electric was. Honest price. Great service and went above and beyond to check the safety of our breaker box at our house to make sure the kids and my family was safe. Flavius was also great to talk to and I really enjoyed working with him. Getting the quote was super easy we FaceTimed and sent videos and it was so much better than old electricians I've worked with. We installed a 50 amp rv hookup which required a complicated breaker box rearrangement which allowed us to not have to put in a sub panel. While he was here I had him put in a few other items I've delayed to do also!! read more

I'm a realtor so we get reco's all the time and this one was from another KW realtor who said...this guy is great and trustworthy. I'd just felt ripped off on a personal property by another company and Flavius did me right! I had a wiring conundrum and he figured it out, showed up on time and stayed late to get it done. He's my new go to guy. read more

Great experience with Flavius. Showed up on time, explained what he was doing completed the job and charged a fair price. I highly recommend him! read more

Cannot say enough good things! Of all the electricians we contacted Flavius was the only one able to come over the same day we called him for our emergency, and we think it was divine intervention since most other electricians would have walked away and told us to plan on going several days without power until they could install an entirely new main fuse panel. Flavius brainstormed and called several places that he thought could help until a MUCH faster and MUCH cheaper alternative was found. Then he rescheduled some of his appointments and even came in early the next day so that our family would have power restored as soon as possible. He explained everything along the way and really worked hard to find the fastest and most affordable solution. He even identified and quickly completed some preventative maintenance issues that he discovered that could have led to serious problems (and costs) for us in the near future. He was very professional and punctual and nice to talk to. I only wish we could have afforded to tip him even a fraction of the amount of money he saved us! We intend to do that as soon as we can! You don't forget service like that! read more

We had recessed lighting put in in our living room and kitchen as well as an install of 3 pendant lights over our island. He also pulled out the old fixtures in the kitchen and replaced several light switches and installed dimmers for the recessed lighting in each room. Flavius was prompt, courteous, completed the job within the scheduled timeframe, did excellent clean-up after his work each day and the quality of his work was impeccable! This was a really wonderful experience and we already scheduled him to come back and replace all of our light switches! It's a relief to have found such a wonderful resource in our community. I can't recommend him enough!! If you're thinking about calling him, DO IT, it's absolutely worth it and you can trust him. read more

I highly recommend Higher Power Electric based on the excellent work installing LED lighting for me in my horse barn/arena. The price was very fair and this company operates with exceptional integrity and customer care. The job got complete ahead of my expectation. Flavius has been our electrician for three years, and he is beyond terrific. There is no job he can't do, and he will not give up until the job is done right. He is an incredibly nice guy, we now consider him a friend and recommend him to everyone we know. He has done everything for us from securing dangerous live wires in the attic, installing light fixtures, installing a ventilation fan in our laundry room, designing and installing a complete lighting system in our front yard, installing hard-wired under-counter lights, installing new outlets and grounding existing ones and much more.... Oh, and he is incredibly reasonably priced. You won't find a better deal or a better person to help you with your electrical needs. Call him! read more

Flav has done work for us many times. His prices are competitive, work is always done quick and he keeps the site clean. We had a chandelier we wanted to install in 20' ceilings. Most electricians did not have the equipment or want to do it. Flav and his team did it with no hesitation. He also mounted a 75" tv and it looks amazing. Thank you Flav and team! read more

Flavius did a great job installing our super charger for our electric car! The install is nice and clean! His response time from initial call to install was very fast. He treated my wife with respect and was very cautious not to cause any mess in our walk in closet (as this is where the attic access is). I highly recommend this company! read more

We had an old fluorescent lights in our kitchen which Higher Power removed and replaced with can lights. We could not be happier. The price was right and the workmanship was great. We were so pleased that we called them back a few months later and just had new lights put in the living room and the home office. We love them. Flavius is very responsive, professional, and helpful in making decisions about what works best for your home. He shows up when he says he will, gets the job done well, then cleans up afterwards. My parents saw the results and had Flavius come install new lights in their kitchen. They are also quite happy. read more

I recently had Flavius do some electrical work for me. He was highly recommended by my neighbors. I originally had him add a dedicated circuit for a garage freezer. My Tesla was being delivered unexpectedly sooner than I thought and had 2 days until delivery. I needed it done fast and originally I went to Tesla's website to get a 'recommended' electrician for the job. After a couple quotes (which ranged between $875-$1500!) my wife then discovered Flavius who had 5 star ratings here on Yelp. I contacted Flavius who owns Higher Power Electric for a quote and he said he could swing by around 5pm the same day. Wow! He was on time and checked everything out and quoted me a price I could not say no to. It was WELL below the other quotes and not only that, Flavius could come back out to install my Tesla Wall Charger the very next morning! Wow again! I told him I was a bit skeptical because I didn't choose a 'Recommended Electrician' off the Tesla website but he reassured me. I highly recommend Tesla to add Higher Power Electric to their list of recommended electricians. Competitive pricing & fastest service around, period. Thanks again Flavius! The charger is working flawlessly. read more

Higher Power Electric - Tesla Wall Charger installed on 60AMP breaker - Electricians Near Me

Excellent, professional service and price!! I needed a 220v outlet installed in the laundry room, plus a dryer cord. One company quoted $1,100, another $600, then said it would be more on the day of the job. Higher Power Electric quoted a much more reasonable price and completed the job cleanly and professionally. I was referred to Flavius from Higher Power through recommendation from colleagues at work. He came very highly recommended and I am happy to say I am able to wholeheartedly pass on the recommendation. If you're having any electrical work done, you owe it to yourself to get a quote from Flavius. read more

To start with, Flavius is just outstanding. He is very competent, professional, efficient and reasonable. We have been using Flavius's services for 3+ years. He communicates very well and blew our expectations every time. He replaced 5 fans with newer ones and installed an additional one in the master bed. This was difficult as he had to access and find the spot from the attic. He did a very clean job. We did not have to do any touch up in the ceiling. Excellent job! He replaced an exhaust in one of the bathrooms, again which had to be accessed from the attic. He did a tremendous job. He also installed an Auto Exhaust in the attic. This turns on when the temp exceeds 90 degrees. This really improved the comfort level and lowered AC bill. Very clean work!! He extended internet connection from one corner of the house to another by installing Ethernet cable in the crawl space under the house. There was barely enough space to crawl in the other corner, he did it anyway! Amazing! He has replaced a number of our light fixtures with LED fixtures, installed 3 way dimmer switches and regular dimmer switches. What comes through is that he is very professional, competent and efficient. He focuses on what he does 100% and completes the projects on time. Over the 3+ years, his work has been consistently of the highest quality!! He is not just the best electrician we have worked with, but also the best contractor we have worked with!! We have worked with ~ a dozen electricians and 100+ home contractors over the last 20+ years!! He is such a pleasure to work with. We have gotten to know him over the years. By the way, he is a family man and a doting father. read more

My husband found this company from a craigslist add and we were so blessed to find such an awesome electrician! We needed him to do some minor electical work in respect to fixing some shorts we had in a few of the outlets in our home. He also created a new outlet in our kitchen for our microwave, and had to create a seperate breaker for the microwave because it required alot of power. Flavius did such an awesome job, we asked him to put install potlights in our living room! The job was great and our living room looks amazing with the lighting he installed. He did a very professional job and communicated with us throughout the entire process. I consider myself a pretty picky person when it comes to my home and I have to say, I was very much pleased with the final product! I even referred my neighbor to Higher Power Electric the next day. I told my husband, Flavius is definitley "our" electrician! read more
