I'm going to respond because several statements in Webber's comment are simply not accurate.
I did not "go behind your back," nor did I attempt to ruin your business. You were fired..You did NOT show up or finish by the deadline.... I made a decision about how I wanted my project handled based on the circumstances and the delays/No shows I experienced. As the customer, I have every right to make that decision.
I also did not write my review out of revenge. I wrote it based on my actual experience. Being unhappy with the service I received does not make my review false or does it give you the right to characterize my concerns as an attempt to damage your reputation.
I have no interest in attacking you personally, and I am not going to trade insults or bring unrelated matters into this simply because you disagree with my review.
You are entitled to your version of events. I am entitled to mine--and I am comfortable standing behind the facts and my documented experience. BOTTOM LINE: You provide me a quote/price and were paid in full and did not finish/complete the job.....Hence, my Venmo info in the text..Looking for a Refund for services not rendered

1-Star Review -- Webber Electric / Bobby Webber
I hired Webber Electric, Bobby Webber, on July 17 2026 for a project that included replacing 10 old outlets and 4 switches, as well as installing a 40-amp circuit from the garage electrical panel to the location of a new oven. The 40-amp circuit was the primary reason I hired Webber Electric, and I made it clear that the work needed to be completed by August 24 because cabinet and appliance installation was scheduled to begin that day.
I paid a deposit for materials on July 17 so the job could get started within a few days. which was half of the overall project cost before work began, which was $535. On the first day of work, Bobby and an apprentice spent about 2.5 hours installing three switches and three outlets. I was then asked to pay the remaining balance so the apprentice could be paid, and I paid the invoice in full. At that point, the entire project had been paid for...
About a week and a half later, Bobby and his apprentice returned and spent another 2.5 hours working on the 40-amp circuit. During that visit, they installed approximately 15-20 feet of wire and conduit in the garage, made a hole into the crawl space, and pulled the wire through. However, the wire was not routed through the crawl space to the intended oven location. Instead, it was left coiled inside the garage panel, and the work stopped there.
As the August 24 deadline approached, I repeatedly contacted Bobby to remind him that the 40-amp circuit needed to be completed before the cabinet and appliance installers arrived. During the week of August 17-23, I was unable to get Webber Electric back to the house to complete the work. Each day there was a different reason given for why the job could not be completed.
By Sunday, August 23, after being told he would come Saturday or after church on Sunday and neither happened, I informed Bobby that his services were no longer needed. He then said he could come Monday, August 24, before the installers arrived, but at that point I no longer felt I could rely on Webber Electric. I had already hired another electrician on Saturday morning to complete the work.
Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The most disappointing response/comment from Bobby Webber was I am harassing him and its his Birthday.....All I was asking/texting, I am requesting a $400 refund for the portion of the work that was not completed. Which Bobby said he would look into it and follow up, but I did not receive a follow-up or refund. I had to text several times asking about a refund or resolution. The response I continued to receive was that I had been given a discounted rate and a fair price. My position/arguement was simple: regardless of the price, the agreed-upon work was not completed.
My recommendation to anyone considering Webber Electric is to make sure the full scope of work, deadlines, payment terms, and completion requirements are clearly documented. Most importantly, I would strongly recommend withholding a portion of payment until all agreed-upon work has been completed and inspected.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Webber Electric.
