The value of the brace was pretty pricy not at all what the quality should be for the price.

It's a little bit outside of El Paso but that's where you'll have to go if you need to get stuff that Walmart doesn't carry! Whether you're looking for ultrasound gel, tongue depressors, tape, medical equipment, BEK medical has it all. If they don't have it in stock, you can get it ordered. They are open on the weekends and I found the staff here to be helpful and friendly. Don't forget to check in because when we were here over the weekend, we got 10% off our purchase. It's a little bit hard to find, but they do show up on Google maps. Plenty of parking and they aren't very busy.

Upon entering the office I was greeted by Kiko who had made the appointment with me on the phone I had an appointment scheduled with Cynthia whom was a respiratory specialist she greeted me with a smile and I proceeded to follow her down the hallway to an office she had offered me water and gave me a selection of equipment to choose from in regards to my health condition she proceeded to explain in detail about the Machining in entail explain it every function and how it was to be used and how it was to be cleaned she didn't assisted me in measurement in regards to the type of respiratory mask I would require she was very helpful and provided excellent customer service she wanted to make sure that I was fully aware that if I needed anything at any time I can call her or call the facility and they would be more than willing to assist me in any way possible that pleased me because you can tell from that point they were there to cater to the needs of their clients I got to choose from a variety of masks that suit my needs what I like the most is that she gave me ample time to take it home try it out for a few days and see if I liked it if not should be more than happy to exchange the mask for a different one that properly fit or that I was more used to or comfortable with I like the fact that they provided excellent customer service and gave me detailed information regarding the machine that I was provided and that I was able to exchange the mask if I needed. This business is privately owned by Cynthia and her husband I'm extremely satisfied with the service I received and the brand new equipment I acquired here at this establishment I like the fact that she took the time to explain every aspect of the machine and that if I had any questions at any time that I can contact them that puts my mind at ease especially when there's a lot of business that will just rush you out the door to acquire your business and not think twice about you once they have already service due this is not the case for this place they care about what they do and you can tell they care about their clients and that truly is rare for most businesses I highly recommend HVS for your respiratory medical equipment.

All the vendors are ready for contactless payment, but they take cash too. if you need cash, an ATM is close by. The food trucks are towards the front, and the vendor tents are well organized into columns along the center of the market. Everybody from the vendors to the market goers were all friendly and at around noon, the market was bustlin' but not overly busy. We bought some farm fresh honey. The kids were amazed by the 3D printed creations, the freeze dried candies, and the desserts available at the market. The kids also were entertained at the Build a Pen vendor. They spent a good 10 minutes deciding on the various bobbles to personalize their new pens. it was fun.

It seems like it's a bit hard to social distance because the space is kind of small. I felt pretty comfortable since everyone I saw was wearing a mask and it's held outdoors. There was a lot of snacks I wanted to buy. Some vendors had some delicious looking desserts, especially cookies! Yum! I'll definitely stop by again. All of the vendors we bought from were nice and helpful. This market is usually located in the Hobby Lobby parking lot on North Mesa. It's usually there every Sunday between 11 am and 3 pm. They sometimes switch locations. It's best to check their website uppervalleymarket.com and/or follow their social media @uppervalleymarket to stay up to date on what's happening each week. I would definitely recommend and plan on coming back. I need to get my hands on some of those cookies I saw! Why I left without taking some home is beyond me! They just happen to be in one of fashion's most celebrated artisanal boot maker's workshop right here in El Paso (which is apparently also the boot capital of Texas). I present to you Rocketbusters. I read about them thru a business journal about apprenticeships and how they mentor young folks in trade crafts. I had been up til then, saving up pennies to visit Heritage Boot Co. in Austin, since I only heard about them making custom boots. I can't believe we have our own artisan boot maker's here as well! Duh me, right? ‍ As soon as I found out, I messaged them to visit and they told me to call. I was able to get a last minute appointment and they were gracious enough to show me the process, their workshop, and some of their beautiful works of art. Their building is in downtown and I've actually been in their parking lot for the farmer's market, so it's a cool area. We walked up and saw a huge horse on top (ask them about it) and doubles as a weathervane! The workshop is super cool, they have some really cool art as well as the beautiful boots on display to show off their work. You can touch, smell, and see the master artisan's work in the designs. The world's largest boots (real boots with leather, sizing, etc) are also on display and even their restroom is cool! They showed me samples of the designs that they did for charity, movie stars, celebrities, etc and each had a cute backstory. My host was kind and very knowledgeable. The things that they can do to leather is incredible! They also had a huge display of all sorts of boots, mules, and even children's boots, all custom made. Prices start at $1200, which is eye opening, but considering the work put in and the lifetime of the boots, it's actually a deal. Why the cost? They start by hand measuring your feet, since no foot is alike, this is crucial to having a custom fit. I didn't get to do it since it was so last minute to squeeze me in. They then discuss the design and the creative process begins, some designs can take 2 months, some 2 years, depending on the customer and if they like what is being designed for them. They hand draw, cut, and paint the leather designs...some like the mermaid, will have over 50 passes of paint and dyes! It's meant to soak into the leather and have staying power over the lifetime of the boot. That's quality you can see. Some of the designs were so intricate, it looks like actual wood! They train local artisans and keep them on as a full hire should they want to stay. I love that the traditions and expert knowledge gets passed on in hands on training. Come out if you're interested in supporting artisans in our backyard. People from all parts of the world order from them, but we can actually see the process, feel it and see our custom order locally! I know what I'll be saving my pennies for in the next couple of years! #supportlocal

I visited this place in…read moredowntown El Paso last month, and thought it was one of the most unique and coolest places I visited on my trip there! I called the day before my planned visit to request a tour. Rocketbuster Boots prefers that visitors who want a tour request one ahead of time, just to make sure that someone is available on the day and time of your planned visit to give the tour. Didi provided me with a fantastic and free tour that lasted about an hour. She was so awesome and friendly!! She provided me with the history of how Rocketbuster Boots started, explained the process of how clients decide to order their custom handmade boots, introduced me to some of their seasoned designers and also to some of their interns who were diligently working, and then took me down to the basement where the boots are polished and sanded down, then hung to dry. Although the tour is free, I still gave Didi a tip for taking the time to show me around, especially since she was taking time away from her lineup of boot orders to provide the tour. Didi even introduced me to Nevena, a super kind lady who owns Rocketbuster Boots and makes sure that their operations run smoothly on the weekdays. I was astounded to learn that celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger have bought at least 80 pairs of boots from here!! How can anyone wear that many pairs in a year? Apparently, he is one of their biggest customers! I got to see and touch some of the really cool boots that were already made! A pair starts anywhere from $1000 and as high as $4000! I can't afford any of these! But they are really nice to look at! Some of the really fancy boots even have Swarovski crystals embedded in them! If you're ever in El Paso, I would highly recommend you to check out this place! You will be very amazed and learn a lot!! There are so many cool and fun photo ops, too!! And everyone here is really friendly! Rocketbuster usually has their own private parking lot for visitors and customers. However, on the day I visited, the lot was blocked off for repaving and renovation. So I had to park in one of the independent parking lots about a half block away, next to a courthouse. The independent parking lot was alright because it cost only $3 for at least a couple of hours. And it's better to park there than to risk getting a ticket from parking in timed or restricted areas.

They also sell prints and paintings by local artists. What's even better is that it's a local business (well how could it not be?)! Every time I've gone, the employees are super friendly and helpful. I always end up talking and talking with them. Another thing I like about Chuco Relic is that they help the community often. I should say they also try to help people in our state! Back when Hurricane Harvey happened in Houston, they raised money for them by selling merchandise. I recently purchased an El Paso Strong t-shirt from them for $10. I pre-ordered it so it came out to $10 less. I'm always excited to help local businesses succeed, especially when they help others here and around Texas. If you're looking for an El Paso-inspired gift, this is a good place to go.

I like what they stand for…read more During this difficult time, they've printed thousands of El Paso Strong t-shirts for the community and others not living in El Paso. They've donated proceeds to the El Paso shooting victims from the 8/3/19 tragedy. So far they've raised over $100 thousand for the victims. That's incredible! Although I haven't been to the shop, I ordered an El Paso Strong t-shirt and sticker off their website. They're swamped with orders right now. I was completely fine with waiting for the order. I'm interested in buying another shirt that says Amor por El Paso (Love for El Paso). I may also buy one or two more for family. I feel like their products would be great gifts, plus...it's for a good cause. I also like their El Paso Strong caps and stickers. I'll continue to support Proper Printshop. If you want an El Paso Strong t-shirt, you may have to wait days or weeks for one if you order online from them. Since it's for a great cause, I feel like it's worth the wait. There are others around town who are making shirts and products but aren't donating proceeds to the cause. I don't like that. If you want your money to go towards something meaningful, order from Proper, Chuco Relic and/or Viva La Mocha. They all donate to the cause. I heard there was long lines at their shop over the last few weeks. It might decrease as the days go by. Thank you for doing this, Proper. Thank you for helping the El Paso community. I forgot to mention, they gave out free shirts for Pride Month in June. They're awesome! I can't say enough good things about them!

The Proper Printshop is one of a few local shops who have committed to donating the proceeds of the tees to the victims families. I really appreciate this since it leaves a sour taste in my mouth for any business to profit off someone else's tragedy. As unfortunate as the circumstances are that made me discover this awesome shop, I'm grateful to have found this place and it will now be my go to place for all things printing.
