    Do not waste your time and money…read more I hired Chris from Top to Bottom to do electrical work in my kitchen and dining room as I was renovating the spaces. Everything about the experience was bad. He routinely would schedule with me only to not show up or call to say another project was taking too long so they couldn't come to continue my job until next week. One day they showed up and started working. A couple hours later he told me they had to leave because one of their workers had a stomach bug and couldn't continue. Why would you allow someone who is sick to come into a client's home?? (This was pre-covid but yikes.) Once they "finished" the job, I found that outlets they'd moved were loose or hanging out of the housing, they left a big hole in my plaster, and one of the double switches is not correctly aligned. I couldn't even get a cover on it. They also didn't install the recessed lighting they'd wired and he told me he'd come back whenever I wanted to do it. I contacted Chris to ask him to come install those lights and to fix everything that was left not up to par. He said they were too busy but he'd contact me "later" to schedule. It's been a year and I've not been able to get them to come finish, despite having paid them for a finished job. Haven't heard back from them at all. Completely unacceptable.

    This review is not about the craftsmanship of the company but a review of the interaction with the…read moresaid representative of the company, which I think is important for anyone that is thinking of doing business with them. The main issue that I am noting is the lack of communication, professionalism, and integrity of the business. First, the representative doing the estimate was 30 min late to the scheduled appointment and did not call to let me know, I had to call them to find out they were even still coming. Second, after the representative reviewed the project, I wanted him to do, a door repair and fixing subfloor rot, he said he would work on it that night and have something soon. A week went by and I followed up and was told that they had a 'full system crash...and was putting it back together I reached out 10 days later, since I had not heard back, and got no response. I reached out a few days after that too just to check and got no response. My interpretation of this interaction is mainly that if communication and follow-through is an issue on the easy things, I cannot imagine that it gets any better once money and time are involved. If the representative did not want to do the job or give an estimate then just say that, don't just ignore them after you tell them you are going to do something then don't.
