If you're African American or a minority please do not come here for piercings or tattoos. She pierced my forward helix in a spot it's never pierced, totally disregarded where I asked her to pierce it. If she couldn't pierce in the spot it has always been pierced for years instead of taking my money she could've stated she did not feel comfortable or is not use to piercing in the spot requested. Allowed me to leave the establishment with my ear leaking blood. And did not offer my money back after I clearly looked upset. And the owner sat there and did not offer any type of concern that a new customer was upset about a piercing that was not done correctly. It's obviously how I was treated my kind is not welcome at this type of establishment. She stated race has nothing to do with it yet she charged me for a cleaning solution and wouldn't give it to me until I asked for it. She put two dots on my ear and I asked is it coming out of the whole I already have and she said yes. I can see that I made a mistake going to her as I see in reviews she makes a lot of mistakes when it comes to people piercings . She had an attitude and very short with me when I exclaimed that is not how the piercing was asked to be pierced did not offer a refund or to re-pierce me. I'm pretty sure if I was her race she would've shown sympathy and compassion, I came back in clearly crying and she had an attitude even the owner had a smirk on his face like I was not suppose to be upset. Also, when I first came in the owner since I receiving multiple piercings, each would be $30 dollars due to getting multiple piercings and she still charged me full price for each piercing so please stop saying race has nothing to do with it because it has everything to do with it.Plus, why would I allow you to piece my forward helix in a new spot when the holes I have been pierced in the same exact spot from two different artist for years so please stop making excuses you clearly did not follow instructions and did what you wanted and did not care how I felt. I've gotten that same spot pierced in the same spot for years and you're the only artist who pierced in a spot it was never pierced before. You pierced on top of the hole that was already there I clearly asked you was the spot you dotted was it leading out the hole I already have and you said yes.The below photo is where I have always gotten my ears pierced why would I get it pierced anywhere else when I was born with these holes. You made a mistake and will not own up to it you were very biased and prejudiced towards me when I exclaimed to you pierced me in the wrong spot. Those dots were suppose to led to the holes I already have not a total new piercing spot. The only artist who screwed me over and made a new whole on top of the hole I have gotten pierced in the same spot for years.THE OTHER TWO ARTISTS FROM TWO DIFFERENT PIERCING SHOPS OBVIOUSLY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. VIA THE PHOTO BELOW. You just wanted the money because you clearly did not know what you were doing.

here is my smiley this was the worst one. it was very painful and i noticed it was crooked the next day when the swelling went down.

The studio requires…read moreappointments and keeps the doors locked, which actually made the whole experience feel very special and intentional rather than rushed or chaotic like some retail environments can be. It really felt like this was an occasion just for her. My daughter was pretty nervous going in, but James was absolutely fantastic with her. He was calm, patient, and took the time to talk her through everything, which really helped soothe her nerves. By the time it was done, she felt proud and excited rather than scared. The entire service was phenomenal from start to finish. James was professional, kind, and clearly cared about making it a positive experience. The Parlour itself is also really cool; clean, welcoming, and full of personality. I honestly wish every retail or service experience I had was handled with this level of care and thoughtfulness. It made a moment my daughter was nervous about turn into a really special memory for both of us.

Once you "schedule" your appointment, they will send another email with a link for a deposit that must be made within 24 hours to hold and secure your appointment date and time. This is a $50 deposit towards your final total. We arrived at the Parlour and were advised that there is only street parking, so be prepared. Our appointment was with James for a second earlobe piercing for my daughter. Please pay attention to their website as they require a birth certificate if your child and the consenting parents ID, too. My daughter and I both signed consent forms and then he took us upstairs to look at jewelry. They have a wide and beautiful selection. He was very patient and informative with my daughter for her to choose what she wanted. She chose beautiful champagne colored studs He then advised us that he needs to sanitize and prep his station and the jewelry so it would be about 10 minutes. My daughter and I went back downstairs and waited a bit. After he was finished, he took us to his room and explained the process in detail to my daughter all along the way. He marked my daughter's ears and then measured her ear lobes and showed her where the earrings would be placed. Everything was sterilized and each needle is only used once and then disposed of properly. My daughter did have anxiety but didn't really show it, especially after the first ear lobe was done. James advised her how to breathe each time he would pierce her ear and she followed his directions. Again, he was very patient and professional. He gave her after care instructions and a cleanser. Since we are only visiting from Vegas, he told us to send an email about any follow ups regarding the posts in her ears if we wanted them shorter after they healed. He said he would reach out to his contacts in Vegas to help with this when the time comes. We were both very happy with the experience and my daughter was ecstatic with her new piercing. She had a previous gun piercing (my bad, I know now), so this was a much better experience. I highly recommend the Parlour.

Obviously I like the joint or I wouldn't have come back so many times. But I want to tell you why I like this place. First, Shawn and I hit it off immediately! If you're going to allow a guy with a needle to permanently imprint your skin, you want to like him and trust him. And you want to enjoy the awful process! Shawn and I "met" on Facebook. We had something like 60 mutual friends, so I asked him how come I didn't know him. We started talking and I knew immediately he was a kindred spirit. He's very funny, quick-witted, and a great storyteller. It's nice when we've got an hour or longer session and I can focus on his story and not the awful (albeit beautiful) work he's doing on my arm. Second, Shawn does consistently brilliant work! And don't fret if you see his stuff and you don't see "your style." Just because you don't see it doesn't mean he doesn't do it. The well that is Shawn's talent runs very deep, I assure you! I still can't believe he's in little Medina, NY. That's brings me to the third reason I go see Shawn. I'm supporting the community in which I grew up. That doesn't mean you should drive to Medina if you live in Buffalo, but it's an added bonus for me. I grew up there, and so did Shawn. In fact, that's why his prices are what they are. He's in Medina, not Buffalo. Could he charge Buffalo prices? Yes, he is worth it (he's worth a lot more, honestly), but Medina probably couldn't support it. So why not enjoy the benefits of getting a great tattoo in a small town and drive to Orleans County? If incredible tattoos at a ridiculously affordable price isn't enough, there's another reason I go see Shawn. Reason number four, it's clean. The shop has a great vibe, everything is super-clean, and I don't ever feel like I'm on display. I'm always comfortable (as comfortable as is possible when you've got someone jabbing your skin with a needle a gazillion times a second, causing you to bleed and whatnot). He's got a TV if you want to watch that, or like I said before, Shawn is great at distracting you with his easy conversation. I'm currently working on a literary sleeve, so I've got pieces related to books or comics I've read and loved. While I was visiting San Francisco recently, I was stopped no fewer than three times a day by people wanting to know who did my tattoo. Specifically most wanted to know about my Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close tattoo. Over the period of ten days, I told at least 30 strangers the story of my tattoo, and where I got it. Most also wanted to know the cost. When I told them, they were shocked. One girl told me a piece like this would cost me $750-$1000 to have done there - with the details and the quality and the great color, they were all amazed to hear it cost me less than half the low-end figure. So when I say Shawn does "big city tattoos" at a "small town price," that's not some clever catch phrase. It's tested and true.

Back in 2024, when my middle daughter was about to turn 8, we went to Andie for her first ear piercing. As my daughter's nerves grew, Andie's patience somehow doubled. She coached her through one lobe, and when my daughter decided she wasn't ready for the second, Andie didn't push -- she supported her wholeheartedly and celebrated her choice to wait. Fast forward to last week: my other two daughters decided they wanted their ears pierced as well. We went back to Andie, and she guided my oldest through double piercings and gently worked with my youngest, who needed a little extra time and confidence. We returned the next day, and she did it! Then came my middle daughter -- the one who had only one lobe pierced since 2024. Seeing her sisters succeed gave her the courage to try again. After an hour and a half of pep talks during one visit, and then another 2 1/2 hours during our most recent appointment, she finally became a two‑earring girl! Andie was right there with us the entire journey -- patient, encouraging, emotionally invested, and truly cheering her on. She was nearly in tears with pride, just like I was. You can see that this isn't just a job for Andie. She pours her heart and soul into every single person she works with. She cares deeply, she loves what she does, and she strives for absolute excellence in every interaction. I would recommend Andie to ANYONE. You will not be disappointed -- she is one of a kind!
