Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw what I had been missing all this time!! Truthfully, I thought it was more of a craft store than a book store; but I was completely wrong. There are many, many shelves and aisles of books - much more than I thought there would be. Both "parts" of the store, the books and the craft, are plentiful. Book 'N' Brush have a great selection of all genres of books - adults, teens, kids - and it's already great to have these selections in a local store. Physical space side of things - the aisles are wide, the shelves are deep, book covers are displayed, top sellers are spotlighted - everything is easy to see and the store is easy to navigate. The staff was very friendly with me. Checking in when I walked in and then let me wander and look around without being pushy or making me feel like they were hovering over me. Perfect!! All in all, I was very impressed with Book 'N' Brush and will certainly be back. I love book stores, I love local book stores even more, and this is a great one!

The shop is a hidden gem with a warm and inviting atmosphere. While Ewe and I is mainly a yarn store, they also have supplies for spinning, weaving, and felting, as well as craft classes. One side of the shop is Shonda's Food Cafe with hand pies, coffee, and baked goods. There are tables where you can sit and eat, but they were all taken when I was there on a Saturday in the late morning. They offer gorgeous yarn, such as the Alp Natural in the photos. The staff is kind and helpful, cheerfully winding my yarn without complaint and talking about possible patterns I could use with the yarn. I wish I lived near this shop so I could visit often.

In fact, they helped us understand why we did or did not want a certain matte, frame, color, etc...and what is would do to the thing we were getting framed. A great casual atmosphere and they even offer a wonderful cup of Beltie Brew coffee. It's good stuff, and they sell it there. She recently framed my grandmother's multi-strand beaded necklace and the piece looks phenomenal. I am so impressed that she went through and hand stitched each bead in matching thread colors to the matte. It took a while to complete, but was totally worth the wait! There is no one else in the area that I would trust with preserving our family and vacation memories.
