My family and I have been having our Taxes done here for the past 12 years at their Temple City…read morelocation. The past 2 years the service has gone down and have become very rude and impatient. This year was beyond horrible. Made an appointment and still had to wait 2-3 hours(I left after 2 hours). Tried calling and texting to make an appointment had no luck! Walked in and the rude lady in the front stated I needed an appointment and they may not be able to help me. I just explained to her all I needed to do was just finalize my taxes and I'll be gone! Finally got in to see Josh and he seemed bothered and upset that he had to help me. My fault for giving you business. My family and I won't be back next year. Those thinking about coming here, I would think twice about it. They surely don't appreciate your business!

Patricia and her team are by far the best insurance agency I have ever had. Patricia took the time…read moreto sit down with me to understand my unique insurance need. She then made a personalized recommendation of what protection I needed. With other insurance companies when I had a need to call in I would have to go through a maze of robot prompts to get me to an agent that had no idea who I was, I had no idea who they were, and only knew me as policy number XXX. When I call Patricia and her agents a real person from her office picks up right away and recognizes me when I call. Overall Patricia is the first insurance agent where I felt she was MY agent. An agent that wasn't looking for the companies interest, but looking out for my best interest. She'll even follow up and ensure I am getting the best price and best coverage for my individual need. I don't ever see myself going to any other agent.

I was shopping around for car insurance, so I decided to check several options and Prima Insurance…read morewas one of my many options - so after reading a couple of their reviews, that's what made me give them a try - Unfortunately, the reviews I read were nothing like what I expected, I took a long drive to Prima Insurance for nothing - As my husband and I walked in the door, we were not greeted let alone acknowledged - that there was already a red flag - because of the long drive, we decided to wait - again, based on the reviews, I asked for Martha, apparently she was not available, she's out for the next 2 weeks so then 2nd runner up was Sofia - she is absolutely "NOTHING" as described to be in the reviews - she is very rude, absolutely no manners, has a heavy accent and "LACKS" in customer service - When I asked to see her, she immediately responded with, "you don't need to see me", she can help you - she as in Helen - unfortunately, I didn't get what I was expecting to get from Prima Insurance - Customer Service is what I mainly look for in any business and I just didn't get that from this place - the first impression is always the lasting impression - We were forced to leave because we didn't feel we were getting what we were looking for - my husband and I drove down the street and found Adriana's Insurance - the minute we walked in the door, we were acknowledged immediately - Marisol got all of my questions and concerns answered - she was very patient, was very knowledgeable, and most of all, she was very professional - she made us feel very comfortable, and explained the policy thoroughly - If any one of you is considering giving your business to Prima Insurance, I would strongly suggest and recommend that you contact the owner directly, Mr. Francisco Abundis Sr. - you basically want to put your insurance needs on someone who is a lot more professional and knowledgeable - unfortunately, he was on vacation when we went -

Then while I was still waiting, I noticed that Prima Insurance Services next door on the left also did Notary Public services. I had to have my ID and passport card verified for access to a secure government website and I figured that God must have been looking out for me because I was able to get so much done at one time. The Notary was very friendly as was the insurance agent sitting at the other desk. There are plastic shields to maintain COVID-19 safety protocols as well as 6' physical distancing signs. It's located in a non-descript strip mall on the southwest corner of Garvey and Peck Road with plenty of off street parking right in front. The whole process took less than 5 minutes and was only $15.00. So, if you need a quick Notary or happen to have a craving for some Boba or Dim Sum and need a Notary, too, it's all right here.

I was really struggling to secure renters insurance for my new place because of the LA wild fires,…read moreand Route 66 managed to find me an insurer for $260, but the cost was incredibly disappointing. I assumed that's just what the insurer was charging based on actuaries, Then I got the contract, they charged me $110 for the actual insurance policy and then slapped on an agency fee of $150. That's just too steep, especially after I called around and found out how much others were charging. It feels like blatant price gouging, taking advantage of the current crisis situation. It's frustrating to see such excessive fees when you're already dealing with the stress of finding a safe place to live during these wildfires.
