They are spacious, and you definitely get your money's worth. Maintenance is 24/7 and always reliable. I do wish they would upgrade the buildings- but that's the only complaint. It is a very quiet community. We've never had any issues with the building, neighbors, or staff.

I lived in it for less than a year before I was granted permission to break my lease. A month or so after I moved in with my 2 sons, we could smell gas. The problem was "fixed" and yet I continued to smell gas. I called the gas company but because the ground was frozen, we had to wait until the winter was over in order to get it fixed again. During the brutal winter months, something broke under my kitchen sink which cased water to SPEW everywhere. It couldnt be turned off by us because of the location of the valved. So water just kept spewing for about 20 plus minutes until someone came over to cut it off. This created a hole in the bottom of the cabinets, which lead to mice.This also left us without water for 3 days. The maintenance crew, who were always very pleasant, except the supervisor Carrie, came to "fix" the sink and the hole and laid traps for the mice. My mom was the unfortunate one cleaning up the rodent droppings throughout the cabinets until that little sucker was caught! The outpouring of water lead to a very soaked carpert in my sons closet, because it shared a wall, which also lead to me tossing out some of his clothes, seeing that i discovered the wet carpet days later. By then, it had a very strong odor. They sent someone over to clean the carpet, ok fine. Oh, and wheb I first moved in the washer had to be replaced because it didnt work properly. It made a very loud grinding sound!!! Fast forward to the summer. The gas company comes to dig up the yard and "fix" the leak. Yay!!! Nope!! The gas smell continued. It was discovered to have ANOTHER leak!!!! Guess what??!! The come back and it was a much bigger problem that affect about 3 homes.. After the final fix, my yard was left in complete disarray. A sight for sore eyes let me tell you. This community takes the outside appearances seriously, so I still had to cut the small patch of grass or I'd be charged. Forget about the lopsided bushes, holes, piles of dirt and all of the other messes in the yard. That small patch of grass better be maintained *eye roll*. Let's not forget the tremendous amout of ants!!! Oh, lord!!! ANTS GALORE!!!!!! This ant problem was not only my issue, neighbors talk. Even after all of this my rent was on time and paid in full EVERY month. But wait!!! Here's the straw that broke the camels back!!! The air conditioner did not work!!! No problem right, they could fix it...My mom called to let them know that it wasn't working. She knew before me because she comes over to watch my children while Im at work. The maintenance guys checked it and couldnt figure out why it Was not working, so they will follow up with us in 4 days!! Mind you it was a very, very hot weekend. The temp out side baked us on the inside of the unit. 80's, 90's, yeah that hot. The follow up day rolled around and Carrie, the one mentioned up top, showed up with THE BIGGEST attitude. She basically accused us of lying about the AC unit not working. Wtf?! I mean it got ugly, to the point that I had to put her out of the home. So, at the end of that drama they wanted to run the AC at a lower temp to see if that would help. It was 74 degrees inside and 12 plus hours later the unit dropped to a mere 71 degrees even though it was set in the 60's. In the end, I broke my lease and moved the hell out. We were offered no real solutions on the AC unit. No one made any mentions of fixing it. Rent at your own risk. I wouldn't recommend this to any one else. Unless all u require is a well maintain community on the outside, this is a place for you.

She explained, we didn't turn our key in early enough. What?? Friday was the last day to live there and they were closed on Sat and Sunday. So now we can't turn the key in. We took key to Carol on following Monday. Never did she say we would be charged a month for water if we didn't turn it in on the the 30th, which was a paid rental day until midnight that was already paid for! They charged me for two months of water! WHAT??? So basically I was charged a months worth of water for no longer living there? This place charged me an entire month because they were closed and I could not turn my key in because they were closed! So unfair, so shady to say the least! Twice I was working out of town for a week, they said my grass was to high and charged me $35 each time they mowed the grass! I ask to see pictures of the grass they claimed was past the 3 inch mark. Carol said she would send them to me and failed to do so! I had no air conditioner the entire year I lived there. When I let them know it needed fixed, they said I would have to call the electric company to have it fixed. Electric company said they could not help me that pikewood manner would have to fix the problem. It was never fixed! I'm so disgusted with how money hungry and shady this management is! They fight you over repairs that are necessary for safety. The roof literally started falling apart due to huge icicles that form due to the gutters not being maintained. It went a week without any repairs or cleanup until a neighbor finally decided to clean up the debris. Those icicles also melt and refreeze right in front of your door, creating a very hazardous ice mound for you to step over everything you leave or enter your apartment. The manager is very rude and unprofessional. The apartments are in terrible condition. And when we moved in there was an active leak and the floor was covered in mold. They did a quick mop up job, ignoring the fact the water from the leak was running under the wall and dark moldy water was squishing up through the tiles. Management's response is to portray me as a problem tenant for reporting the issues and continuously try to force me to move out. There are more issues, but you get the idea.
