On top of that I told management about the creepy maintenance guy sending me inappropriate pictures of himself and texts but he still remained working.o top of that management is not approachable!!and has a very very short fuse!!! and no moral compass and empathy deficit disorder!!! and good luck complaining about a neighbor keeping you up days on end you will get blamed for complaining!!!we lived here for four years rent always on time and no complaints against us. we received a lease renewal letter but after we complained about the loud neighbor twice in three weeks we were giving 30 days to move... but a blessing in disguise!!!! I have plenty of pictures of all the disgusting mold and water leaks and the creepy maintenance guys inappropriate pictures and texts!!! run fast and far from this dump!!! and also my review kept getting taken down and blocked on the chestnut acres elyria ohio web site so someone doesn't want the public to know the truth!!!!

They work with you and help you with anything you need. They have 24/7 maintenance and it is very prompt when you call. Nothing about this property or the owner, or the workers is lower than a 5, I would highly recommend it to anyone that asked me about a good Apt. in the area. They truly are the best around and the best for the money and are actually at a lower rate then they should be charging people because of all the things they do for you and offer you as a renter.

Had some issues in the winter with pipes freezing and it took them like two days to get to us, but I try to be understanding. The reason I'm posting one star? When I moved out, I was there for the at home inspection and signed up that things were good. Told I would get my security deposit after the last water bill came out of the balance. This was back in June. It is now October and I have sent several emails and calls to get a hold of someone to ask about an update on getting the deposit back. No one ever responded to me and its been months. The trailer was NOT in bad condition. It was older and needed some love when we moved in and the condition was not bad when we left. Again, I was there for the at home inspection. So 400-500 dollars that I have not gotten back and that was money that was really needed. Didn't even have the decency to respond and talk to about what was going on.

Where do I begin? The place is infested with roaches. There is no grace period on rent, and not…read moreonly do they charge 50 dollars for a late fee but will add an extra 30 dollar management fee randomly to your rent sometimes. They fight you over repairs that are necessary for safety. The roof literally started falling apart due to huge icicles that form due to the gutters not being maintained. It went a week without any repairs or cleanup until a neighbor finally decided to clean up the debris. Those icicles also melt and refreeze right in front of your door, creating a very hazardous ice mound for you to step over everything you leave or enter your apartment. The manager is very rude and unprofessional. The apartments are in terrible condition. And when we moved in there was an active leak and the floor was covered in mold. They did a quick mop up job, ignoring the fact the water from the leak was running under the wall and dark moldy water was squishing up through the tiles. Management's response is to portray me as a problem tenant for reporting the issues and continuously try to force me to move out. There are more issues, but you get the idea.

I wouldn't have even wasted my time and placed my personal information online if I would've known this?! Then I scheduled a showing. They had no idea they had an appointment with me and said they didn't have anything to show me?! Then why does it allow you to schedule a time?! Don't do it.
