If I could give zero stars I would. I'm visiting family down here and ended up contracting COVID-19. I realized I was running out of juice and it was a Sunday. My normal vape shop that I use when I'm down here is closed on Sunday's, so I called HighLife to see if they would be willing to meet me in the parking lot at my vehicle to sell me juice given my circumstances. I knew it was a long shot but I figured the worst they could say was no, right? I explained my situation to the girl who answered the phone and she said they wouldn't be able to do that. I get it. I thanked her for her time and went about my day. A few days later, I get a phone call from a blocked number. It was the local police department saying that a report had been filed that someone from my phone number threatened to come into the store and expose everyone to COVID. I was dumbfounded! I never threatened to come into the store and when she said no, I totally understood what she was saying to me. It didn't bother me one bit. I told him how the conversation really went down. He goes on to inform me that they want me banned for life from their store. I told him it was fine because I don't want to give them my business now anyway. He thanks me for being so cooperative and tells me it sounds like the store themselves are overreacting. I call my brother, who also vapes, to tell him what just happened and he tells me over a year ago he had a negative experience with them. He waited a while and decided to give them another chance, and had another negative experience. I called my normal shop the next day and they were able to work with me. I'm writing this and I'm still in such disbelief that a business would do something so crappy to someone who was willing to spend money with them. read more
