STICKER SHOCK. It…read moreabsolutely pains me to write this review - The Great Frame Up had all the makings of a five star review. This charming red house on a side street in Carmel has a plethora of frame options available. The kind staffperson was super helpful and worked with me every step of the way to create what I wanted. She had an artistic eye and helped me with choosing colors and frame styles. I enjoyed the mix and match process and was really happy with what I selected. But then...the price tag. I was looking to frame three separate art/calligraphy prints (not even 8.5 x 11) and the price for EACH was $250. WHAT??? My jaw about dropped to the floor. Literally everything else about this experience was great except for the price tag. I understand professional framing is pricey, but I had no idea it would be this much. I will be going elsewhere for my framing needs.

I went here to have two 8x10 pictures mounted in the same frame. The guy that helped me was great…read moreand did a nice job suggesting frame styles and backing colors. When he was done he entered it in the computer to get the total. He said two-fifty-two. I said "Dollars!". That's right. For a nine by 22 inch wood frame and some blue cardboard, they wanted $252. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to go searching for a cheaper place, so I just had him do it. A day later it was ready. It was very well done and looked awesome. The person I gave the gift to loved it. But damn, $252 for a frame was a little shocking. They clearly do good work, but be prepared to pay for it.

We looked online for framing options, but at the size of the print, didn't have many options. Did we want to save a bit of money, but leave it to ourselves to build a frame a mat a 42"x34" print? After searching Yelp, I found a framing shop within miles of our home...I could check them out and worse case, go home and order online. The consultation was amazing. I described my vision, and provided multiple options at different price points. When it came to the quote, we worked through different customizations until I found what I wanted at a price within 20% of those online shops you have to build yourself. I agreed immediately. Our piece was finished quickly and perfectly. They were excellent with communications and customer service. They rushed my order and made sure I was happy with the results. (spoiler: I was!!!!) We love our new addition to our living room. Thank you Matt and team!

We would not hesitate to continue to use Four Corners Framing on future projects; and highly recommend their services.

I specifically wanted my artwork framed with no glass, and they gave me exactly what I wanted. My artwork is now hanging up on my wall, beautifully framed. The frame blends in and doesn't take away from the art at all, which is exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased with the final product. However. (Oh, you knew there was a "however" coming, didn't you?) When I placed my order, I worked with a woman who was super friendly and helpful, and she told me that it would take about three to four weeks to complete the project. No problem -- I wasn't in any hurry. So, a month goes by. Then six weeks. Finally, it's been two months, so I get on the horn to see what's the hold up. A man answers the phone and cuts me off as I'm talking. "Yeah, we have all the pieces in; we just need to assemble it. We'll have it done tomorrow." Seriously? So ... it takes you less than 24 hours to frame my artwork, but you've been sitting on it for who knows how long? What would have happened if I didn't get on the phone and ask where my framed piece was? Would it have sat in the shop indefinitely? I hate having to remind people to do their jobs, and that's exactly what I had to do. Then, when we picked it up, there was no apology from them about forgetting the job or being late. They just handed over the artwork. Uh ... thanks? Anyway, the story has a happy ending because I love my framed art and they did a good job. I just wish they would have done their job in the timeframe they promised, without me having to remind them to do their job.

I stopped into Hobby lobby because I knew I could get some good picture frames there. Luckily, the store was having a 50% off discount on all wall frames and photo frames. Hobby Lobby had a huge selection of wall/photo frames to choose from, so I took my time to find the right frames for my pieces of art. I eventually found the frames I wanted, and picked up a decorative item for my house as well. The value of the picture frames was terrific and there were very nice frames in the store. There are not a lot of staff walking around in the store, so I didn't ask anyone for assistance, because I did not really need it. When I checked out at the cashier, the woman was very nice and friendly, and wrapped my picture frames with care to make sure they would not crack or break. I had not been in a Hobby Lobby for quite some time, so I was impressed with the selection of picture frames and other items in the store. They always have a sale each week from what I can tell, and you do get value for your buck. If you love arts and crafts, and need supplies, Hobby Lobby is the store for you. They have everything you need for your projects. It is a great store for the crafty person!

I worked there as a custom framer for over a year and one night I had been called to help with a bathroom incident. I thought to myself "no problem we're a team" As I cleaned up the mess with toilet paper and weak tools provided by the company it took me quite awhile to fully clean the mess. Afterword I got called back to the framing counter for a custom order. I completed the order with a red face as I smelled of feces and then after I asked my manager for permission to go home and shower/change before closing. She said "NO we're understaffed tonight" I pleaded my case as I felt it was inhumane to have me working while smelling like another humans feces. I asked again.. and then again rejected by "Liz". At that point I decided to quit .. I never planned on doing this until such an extreme circumstance. But get this, I went to HR and told them what happened. Just weeks later she was awarded the Store Manager position at Avon. Please be aware of the leadership at this company
