Since I'm being accused of defamation, here is more proof…read more In my opinion, This tree was planted too deep and there was too much mulch and bark completely covering the trunk and base of the tree that we had to remove, unfortunately, this suffocated the tree according to 2 local nurseries. It didn't help that you incorrectly set our sprinkler system. My dad asked for the front yard and back yard to be set the same amount of time in morning and late afternoon, you set it so that the back yard got the highest amount of water in the morning AND afternoon and the front yard got the lower amount of water in the morning and afternoon. No wonder the tree is almost dead. Now to address your accusation of racism: How about you ask your guys that were here when the front yard was being done how often I would speak Spanish with them every time I pulled up to my house? I asked them how to say a couple things and they taught me. I enjoyed having you guys around, including you (when you were there). My post was nothing personal. I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and I always make it a point to practice when I can so I don't forget words. I can also speak a tiny bit of Vietnamese (learned about 20 years ago), tiny bit of Chinese (Mandarin- still learning), a little French and a little German. I've lived in Southern California my entire life. You only met 3 white people at my house and my whole family is an extremely mixed bunch of 3 different races. It's awfully judgmental of you to label someone as racist simply because of their skin color. Telling someone they did something wrong isn't racist, just fyi. I understand your go to "racist" comment with the way the world is right now, but it was displaced towards the wrong people. In my opinion, and the opinion of other landscaping companies that came in to complete the job and saw your work, your company's work was poor. Bottom line. Nothing personal. Just business. You could have fixed the problems (because there are more than I posted) instead of ghosting us and ignoring the issues, but you didn't. It's normal for some people to lash out and personally attack someone when they have no rebuttal for non-personal criticism. However, it's poor business practice when a customer shares their opinion based on their experience (with pictures) and instead of merely apologizing, you dig a deeper hole. Best of luck!

We also had a large dead bush in our front yard that needed to be removed, our landscaping was growing onto the sidewalk, and the weeds were beginning to invade there, as well. We got several quotes for the large haul weed removal and Nick was the lowest and most reasonable by far. He worked with us on ways to keep the cost down but still get the end result we wanted. In the end he did an amazing job removing every single weed and dead plant, sprucing up our trees and edging our lawn. We wound up hiring him to plant a few additional flowers in our front yard as well, and not only did he do that with as much care and planning as he possibly could, but when an irrigation line wound up getting nicked in the process, he came back and fixed it the very next day with no fuss or extra charge. UPDATE -- Unfortunately, our experience changed significantly after I posted my original review…read more When I originally wrote this review, I genuinely believed we had found an excellent landscaping team. Unfortunately, as the project continued, I became increasingly disappointed with the quality of the work and the way the job was handled. Several issues have come up that I feel are important to mention. The property was not properly graded as we had discussed. Instead, the grading was done by hand with a shovel, despite being told the property would be graded. The DG installation also became a major issue. Proper research and preparation were apparently not done before the DG was installed, resulting in the DG having to be redone twice. We have also experienced a leak in the irrigation line, leaving the DG wet. Additionally, two of our sprinkler manifolds are now hammering because they are receiving approximately 110 PSI of water pressure, which is a concern that should have been addressed with the irrigation system. The project also took approximately twice as long as expected because the work was largely done by hand rather than using the appropriate equipment. From my perspective, the job seemed increasingly rushed, with the focus appearing to shift toward finishing the project and moving on to other jobs rather than taking the time necessary to ensure the work was done correctly and to a high standard. There were also issues with the sprinkler timer installation. Initially, the timer was installed in the back yard with an extension cord. We ultimately asked that the timer be placed inside the garage, and we ended up having to drill the appropriate hole ourselves for the sprinkler wiring. What makes this especially disappointing is that my original review was written because I truly believed in this company and the people behind it. Tony has a great personality, and he and his wife were very kind and personable, which made me feel confident that we had chosen the right team. Unfortunately, the quality of the work and the way the project was completed did not live up to the impression we initially had. I regret that I initially recommended the business so highly before the entire project was completed. I wanted to give an honest update because my original review no longer accurately reflects our overall experience. I sincerely wish things had turned out differently, because I believe this could have been a great experience if the same level of care and attention had been maintained throughout the entire job.
