It's definitely out in the desert, but that makes sense, they need plenty of space to safely house and care for so many different animals. All of the animals looked healthy, well cared for, and comfortable in their habitats. The admission price was very reasonable, and the Extreme Feed experience was absolutely worth it (just keep in mind it's for ages 18+). I know it can feel a little sad seeing animals in enclosures, but learning more about their backgrounds helped put things into perspective. Many of them can't survive in the wild, and this sanctuary gives them a safe, protected place to live with a staff that clearly cares about their well‑being. Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable visit, and I'm glad places like this exist to give these animals a second chance.

They fill a shopping basket overflowing with fresh fruit and vegetables, canned goods, dairy products, boxed and packaged items such as pastas, beverages, breads, desserts, and even eggs. You never know what you will get, but it is worth hundreds of dollars in value! They have it down to a smooth running system, with the cars coming in, getting loaded up and then exit out. The traffic gets a little backed up on the street, but that's expected. Everyone working is volunteering their time, so people waiting in their cars need to be patient and kind. In fact, why not come volunteer yourself!

Robert was our estimator; he was so helpful and truly cared about us as homeowners. We felt he had our back throughout the whole process and would advocate for what we needed to move back into a safe and clean structure. He was overloaded due to the sheer volume of homes needing abatement at that time, but he always responded and did an incredible job. We had a few project teams (led by Luis and Carlos) that came out and all were fantastic - super meticulous, hardworking, professional, and polite. They also wore proper PPE and followed all safety protocols despite it being 90+ degrees out. The best part of all - our house passed clearance - we tested the floor and windowsill of every room and the outside even.
