Very disappointing experience coming to this establishment to buy a truck. Test drove a truck I liked. Immediately noticed the alignment needed to be done. They did offer to fix the truck if I purchase it. So I made a very good offer. Ultimately offering 24,000 cash/check. They listed it at 24,900. Unfortunately the floor manager did not except my offer. Instead told me how they can just "give" the truck away. I asked about them offering a warranty on the vehicle they state in the website. It Also states the do 171 point inspection on all vehicles before they hit the lot. This was obviously not true. The "Manager acted like he had the holy grail of trucks. This was a ten year old used vehicle.. I asked if I could talk to the owner about the final decision and was given the run around. I am Honestly shocked how this place operates. I am a business owner/operator with over 27,000 successful sales with a 5 star rating. So I know a little bit about sales and customer service.The only positive thing that came from my experience at this location. Is now I know where not to buy my future personal and business vehicles when I move my business and family back to my home state and county! read more

I thought when I bought a truck in Dec of 2025, I'd be happy with this dealership man was I wrong with less That 20k miles they are telling maybe they have to replace the ECM on my truck which is fine but they've had it for two weeks two weeks. on Monday they told me they would call me back. It is Wednesday. I had to call them again. They still can't tell me when it's going to be done or an ETA. They've had my truck for two weeks while I've been on a wildfire in Oregon if you are a wildland firefighter, I haven't had my truck in a month when the light first came on over a month ago I called and they told me they had a part in stock could replace it that day I went over they didn't have the part had to order. It went back two weeks later they changed the part light came right back on and they told me it's still not done when I'm getting home from a trip. I will never Spend a dime in this business ever again. Do not recommend worst customer service frankly it was the worst customer service I'd ever have buying a vehicle stay away. read more

Small town friendly with a smile, but lacks Integrity-Ensure you check your service department receipt. I was charged 2.5 hours of labor. However I was there less than an hour. So a part that was $90 and took 50 minutes to install, but charged me $365.70 for 2.5hrs of labor that didn't happen. Total bill was $519 for 50 minutes of labor and a $90 sensor. Small town customer service and honesty doesn't exist here. I will be taking my business to a place that understands the meaning of Integrity. read more

The service technician didn't tighten the bolts on an engine valve cover and 2 transmission cooling lines on my vehicle. This resulted in oil and transmission fluid leaks (diagnosed by a Nissan service department). The service manager denied responsibility, stated not accountable, and denied my request for a copy of their service warranty. Not even an offer to look at my vehicle! High Country Auto service center of Richfield is unethical and obviously not good at their job. read more

Took my truck in not knowing a lot about Diesels ran out Of fuel and was told it was leaking when it wasn't actually leaking. When i knew that the fuel that was there was from me Priming it. Told me No that it was actually leaking and in desperate need I agreed to repair just so I can get back home and was charged a lot. I wouldn't rec this place to anyone !! read more

Beware and be ready to pay money to not fix your vehicle! We took our Chevrolet Colorado in for repair with the message "reduced engine power". We were told it would take a new sensor which was under warranty and a whole new exhaust system for $2507.97 plus tax that was not under warranty. We were not happy but had the repair done. Within a week, the truck had the same message. We took it back to them. They said it now needed another sensor and wanted to charge us another $450. We tried to tell them it was misdiagnosed and that we had a problem with a huge repair that did not need to be done. They said they would take care of us. Nope. They just wanted more money. We went to another dealer to get the sensor. In talking to them, they said that the whole exhaust system rarely needs to be replaced and that that it is mostly the sensor that I was there to buy. The technician should have looked into things better and fixed what needed fixing and not put in new parts that did not need to be replaced. Do not take your vehicle to High Country. read more

When spending the night in Richfield our water pump went out. Went to GMC dealer & was told sorry we're booked out 3 weeks. I asked can't someone at least take a look? They didn't have anyone there & even if I came back in the next morning no one available to look at a stranded person car. Wow very disappointed in this GMC dealer. But found Mike's Auto Clinic who was absolutely awesome. Diagnosed, order part, made repair & had us back on the road. So lucky we found Mike's. read more

Purchased a 2017 Colorado ZR2 from High Country in Richfield. Was promised the second key when previous owner returned it from California by mail. Never received the second key as promised. I purchased a key and asked them to program it because they never fulfilled their promise. Was told it was never written down that it was promised and was charged for programming the key. After purchase, tires seemed out of balance. Within took back, was told they were balanced but still had problems with truck shimmying down the road. Brought it back and was charged for rotation and balancing of tires. Continues to have problems and took to a tire dealership and was told the tire causing the issue was bulging. Had to replace the tire. If you dare buy a car from this dealership, make sure you get decent tires on your vehicle and get everything they promise you in writing!!! read more

STEER CLEAR! Came in when our tow vehicle broke down mid-trip and was sold an older, high mileage vehicle "just to get us home." They assured us it had been "completely gone through" and would easily get us home where we could hopefully sell it for nearly what we paid. Well, it overheated on the first day trying to tow and threw a check engine light. Stopped at a shop in St George and they say it needs a head gasket! High country tells me to take it to their guy in St George who of course can't find anything wrong. So now we've lost faith that this vehicle will make it across the desert but High Country says "it ran fine when you drove it off the lot" and offered to take it back at trade in value at a $4500 loss! We had owned the car for less than 72 hrs at that point. I'm not upset about the fact they did not know it had issues, but the fact that they had no interest in helping after the sale was pretty shady. We even tried to talk to the owner's son at his other dealership in St George (Bluff St Auto) and he denied there was even a connection between the dealerships. They knew we were desperate and were happy to take advantage of the situation. read more

Incredible service from High Country Chevrolet on my 2015 Silverado 3500 Duramax. A while back while on a 13,000 mile cross country RV trip towing a fifth wheel trailer, my truck experienced problems with the SCR system. I located the nearest dealer and headed in for service. Even though they were busy, Cassidy was able to squeeze the truck into the queue, locate and fix the problem, then get us on our way in fairly short order. I already posted a review but the review was written far before any real problems began. I was sold a car with empty promises but I was also sold a faulty car with many problems that would later be discovered. I brought one problem to the attention of the car dealership shortly after it was sold to me. The car transmission periodically wont shift. When I brought the car back to the dealership the ensured me that I only needed a new spark plug... WRONG!! I have now owned the car for 8 months and I have had it in the shop for most of the time I have owned it. I cannot take my car to the local dealership for repairs since I was told to never return after I threatened to get a lawyer if the dealership did not start cooperating. Not only can I not take my car there but I would never trust to take it there. I have been dealing with Saturn to try to resolve these issues since the local dealership refuses to help. I am still stuck with this damaged vehicle and I am still trying to resolve the issues with the car. I want everyone to know how awful this experience has been. I will most likely pay for this car without ever getting use out of it. The owner of this dealership allows his salesmen to sale cars AT ANY COST TO THE CUSTOMERS!! BEWARE!! read more

During a trip from Washington state to Bryce Canyon, our truck developed problems with going into fail safe mode. We tried two other shops along the way and had just about given up. We made it to Bryce and we were told that the only diesel shops were in Richfield or Cedar City. We had been through Richfield on Sunday but knew there was a Chevrolet dealership in town. We drove back to Richfield, and Trevor, the service manager had our truck looked at the same day. They found the problem and arranged to fix it right away. They had no rental cars (neither did the car rental agency in town) so they found a suitable vehicle for us to return to Bryce (where we left our trailer) Three days later we picked up the truck and it was better than new!
