I want to thank the staff at Biltmore Tutoring for all they have done to support my daughter in her…read moreefforts to get into college and to obtain scholarship money. The tutoring and the advice/guidance was EXTREMELY helpful. My daughter was admitted into her top choice college, and others, and was given the Dean of Science scholarship, which in essence eliminated the out-of-state tuition cost. She got other scholarship money as well. I would say that we certainly got a GREAT return on our investment. Further, the process was a lot less stressful knowing that a professional team was behind us all the way. Parent of a SILSA student Now we just need to get my son moving along ...... !

My daughter has been using Stacey and Brian for academic support, now, for almost 7 years, and we…read morecan't explain how grateful we are for their involvement in her development. Their concerns, support and reassuring smiles, over the years, have instilled an enormous level of confidence and discipline that she will easily carry forward. Math, History, French, and English tutors were all available when we needed them, and now, with her 3.85, we are preparing to use their expertise once again, to help us direct her towards the college of her choice. Over the years, I've seen students from the first grade, to a college student needing a little calculus counsel while away at school, communicating via SKYPE, all receive the help they requested. Their new offices are remarkably convenient and have all the tools needed to help you student succeed. I give them my whole hearted recommendation. -Eric 4/3/2019

Appalachian State University - Beautiful campus in the fall

I'm biased....I graduated from here and look how I turned out..........oops. Perhaps that is not…read morethe best way to review. I went here a while ago and it has changed a lot since then. But the school continues to have a great faculty, staff, and programs that I'd go back for a second time if I could *grin*. Serious about both academics and sports, you can tell by the amount of development that has occurred in both those areas over the last 10 years or so. The campus is compact to say the least and getting to class is a breeze no matter where you are on campus. The town of Boone is right there so food, drink, and everything else is right at a students finger tips. FYI....the steam tunnels are still fun to explore if you don't get caught......*evil grin*

How U.S. News and World Reports can say this is the #2 Public School in the South is beyond me…read more Somebody clearly didn't go here. More like the Jerry Springer Show. No class whatsoever. When is the "up and coming" Business School going to be up? Looked like half the classes were taught by grad students, many who got their jollies off on flunking the students. The highest grade in the class on a test was 39 and tested on things that were not presented in the class or book. By the end, well over half dropped the class. And, we're going to pay money for this? You're not learning in this type of educational environment. People here, no class whatsoever. Screaming out windows, lacking in social skills, like the people had never been anywhere. Many of the students were dishonest liars, but that's the mentality you get here. No professionalism. A nutrition major 30 to 50 lbs overweight, nursing majors that didn't know basic anatomy. Just hard to believe. Our dorm manager had to be removed for lewd and obscene phone calls to the females (which can happen anywhere), one of the Psychology PhDs or Masters in Counseling from ASU was so low-class I actually refused to continue the services. One "college seminar" (I can't remember the title) the subject was birth control or sex, but the person presenting had this Cheshire Cat Grin on her face with glee and laughing because as she proudly stated had had an abortion. How she did it for all women and women's rights. She was so gleeful I thought she was going to tell us she had given her life to Jesus. I actually wonder if she regrets any of this. She then proceeded to tell us how her sister had also gotten pregnant and she immediately took her also for an abortion, almost as if this was a rite of passage. One person I know said he would not allow his son to go here because of the school's reputation. And, it hasn't always been this way. Up until the 1980s, this was the Top-notch school in notably music and education - students came far and wide, but not now. What happened? Basically, they all come from I-85 in N.C. going west. Regret ever seeing the place. Don't Walk, Run... away from this school.
