Couldn't be happier. Dr. Higgins and his staff have been taking really good care of my wife. They listen and they care.

Dr. Andrew Higgins is a surgeon, not an Optometrist. Please correct this description.

Dr Perkey and her medical assistant are wonderful. I left a message with her medical assistant and didn't hear back for a few weeks then got a random call from her that Dr Perkey would see me again. I so appreciate it as she is hands down the best doctor I have ever had who actually cares and listens and helps you to find solutions. The building was a large one and a lot going on but the process of check in and getting to the doctor was seamless and easy. To be able to get educated and compassionate care by a provider who keeps up to date on brain injury and gives you tools to use makes a world of a difference! So glad I am able to come here and have no problem making the drive anytime until we can move to bend which is in our 2 year plan.

We arrived at 12:08 pm and were informed that everyone was at lunch and it would be an hour wait. Finally the Trage RN returns, but takes people out of order. My father is 89, walks with a cane. Everyone else that was been seen before him was ambulatory. Overall we have been happy with the physicians, but extremely disappointed in the office protocold. Taking the sickest first makes sense, but this was not the case both times we have used NOW Care.

I made an appointment to do just that on my face. I asked how long I would have to stay out of the sun and was told with a zinc oxide sunscreen it would be minimal. Not a problem. My appointment was for 1PM so I came early to fill out the paperwork and consult with Dr. Leffel. I met with her for 10 minutes while she tried to talk me into a skin care ointment instead. I told her I would rather go with the laser treatment. She left the room to give me the estimate for the treatment but before doing that she made me pay for the consultation which was $99. I had several questions after I noticed on the estimate that I was to stay out of the sun for 6 weeks ( not what they indicated at all on the phone). It also recommended that I get 6 treatments. So I asked how long it would be in-between treatments. The assistant kept leaving the room to ask the Dr. to respond to the questions I asked. I thought it would be easier to just ask the doctor and told the assistant that but Dr. Leffell never came back in. I decided to just go ahead and get the laser treatment done and move forward. However, the assistant then left the room and came back saying they could not do the procedure today. My appointment was to have this done not consult for $99 and then be told they couldn't do it! I was appalled to say the least. I had been there for over an hour. I am not a complainer nor have I ever written a bad review before but felt that people should know what they are getting into. This place is completely unprofessional and now I see why they made me sign documents that I would not stop payment on my credit card. It has obviously happened to her in the past. I would highly recommend that you never go into this office. It's a scam and this doctor is just in it for the buck. There are lots of much better places in Bend

At 72, I was unable to stand up straight, like.a bent over old woman, my legs would go numb, and sometimes my muscles wouldn't work and I would just fall over! I couldn't walk more than 25 yards and I was in constant pain. I had asked to be referred to Dr. Yundt for over a year, but I kept ending up with other PAs and other neurosurgeons, because providers in corporations are unwilling to refer outside their group. All they told me to do was get injections into my spine, which did no good whatsoever. I finally did some foot stamping, and ended up in Dr. Yundt's office. he took one look at my MRI and told me not to worry, that he could help me. I had a laminectomy on L 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5, and when I woke up from anesthesia, for the first time in two years, I could feel my feet, and when it came time to be discharged from this day surgery, I could stand up straight and tall, and walk normally, painlessly. I'm going to be able to ride my horse in another month, and now I can walk normally everywhere; I can hike, I walk my fields, And start living a normal life. Dr. Yundt changed my life, or perhaps I should say that he returned my life to me. I cannot say enough, good about him. He was clear and concise, and very straightforward. Not only is he a skilIed and conscientious surgeon, but also a stellar person who does many works for those less fortunate. I don't think he has a God complex, but he certainly deserves to. I love his staff, and they have taken good care of me. Kelly, at his phone board is always on point.

As well, although they are all very busy, they all make sure to focus on my needs as a patient, walking me through all the details of my visit. Not long after, I am then greeted by Dr Mastrangelo, a true gentleman. Not many patients are happy to have experienced a hernia, and I'm one of those. Nervous about the procedure to relieve this isssue, Dr Mastrangelo is a calming force. During his exam, he is reassuring and compassionate, and I quickly learn that this highly experienced professional is absolutely the right person to take care of all my concerns. There was no rush to move on to his next patient until he has given me his full attention and all the time I need to fully understand my situation. On the day of my surgery, Dr Mastrangelo makes a point to find me in the pre-op room to once again fully describe the days events, calm any nerves, and make sure I am ready. His bedside manner is optimal! I am now fully recovered, with very little pain post-op (one day), and my experience with the Bend Hernia Center (Associates) was over the top. I cannot fully express my gratitude for all the folks at the Bend Hernia Center who made this experience one to remember...in a very GOOD way! I cannot recommend a better organization for anyone who is need of a place to handle hernia issues...these folks are special because they made me feel special! Leslie (Les) Scott Bend, Oregon

After the emotional roller coaster of a breast cancer diagnosis, finding a plastic surgeon who…read moreunderstands reconstruction is key. I found Dr. Vial - thank you baby Jesus! He's a miracle within himself. And big bonus here - he tag-teamed with my Oncologist Surgeon, Dr. Walling and stepped right in after she performed the partial mastectomy to work his magic. Initial expectations were set somewhere between "functional" and "doesn't scare small children". Dr. Vial exceeded my expectations, even when they were set comically low. The reconstruction, reduction, and lift was a journey. A journey that involved discomfort, self-doubt, and the urge to question life decisions. Dr. Vial's calm demeanor and reassuring presence were surprisingly effective at keeping the inner monologue of panic at bay. He explained the options in detail, and somehow made it seem that a new, improved silhouette was possible. The results? My wardrobe is experiencing a renaissance. I can put on a shirt that previously I had struggled with, bra lines showing, boobs not at the right height, and would, most times, throw it in the "hell no" pile. Now? Now I put it on and think to myself, "Wow. That's what it should look like! Hell YES!" The symmetry is spot-on, the lift is a "lift", and the reduction? Gravity no longer holds quite the same dominion. To Dr. Vial, I would tip my hat to you, if I wore one, anyway. Thank you for proving that even after the storm, there's a surprising amount of beauty, confidence, and kick-assness, to be found in the aftermath.

I can wholeheartedly give Dr. Vial and his entire staff (a special shout-out to his PA, Anna too) provided me with exceptional care from beginning to end. I was listened to and never once was made to feel like a burden with my questions or concerns (Dr. Vial responded personally to a text the day after my procedure). He also was not pushy, which I really appreciated. He left the decisions and choices up to me while providing his medical opinion, but again, without any pushiness or saleslike tactics. Dr. Vial is so meticulous and a perfectionist, which in my opinion, is exactly what you want in a surgeon. I had researched my specific procedure for over 10 years before finally deciding to proceed. I had met with over a handful of surgeons, and Dr. Vial was the easy choice. I never once regretted it. Furthermore, my recovery was practically pain-free. Comparing my consultations with other surgeons, it was plain to see that Dr Vial really goes above and beyond to ensure a recovery that is as painless and comfortable as possible. I'm over the moon with my natural results. If I ever need further procedures, Dr. Vial will be the first and only one I call. Side note, he also helped my family through cancer reconstructive surgery and they also had nothing but phenomenal things to say as well. They also mentioned how easy recovery was from their rather invasive surgery, and we both feel that further proves Dr. Vial is an expert and meticulous at what he does. Bend is incredibly fortunate to have a board-certified plastic surgeon like Dr. Vial for elective and cancer patients alike.
