A quick internet search led me to Circuitboardrepair.net amongst other treadmill electronic specific vendors. I noted that Circuitboardrepair seemed to be a bit more pricey than it's competitors, however, I read between the lines and discovered that not only was my circuit board exchange a repair, it was also an upgrade because Circuitboardrepair.net replaces failure prone components on their refurbished boards with more robust than OEM replacements. Doing business with Circuitboardrepair was prompt and seamless. Korey at Circuitboardrepair.net, kept in touch with pertinent emails while not overly filling my email box. From failure of my board to having the new board in the machine and core refund back in my account, the entire process took less than 2 weeks. Circuitboardrepair.net represents old school customer service, attention to detail and quality products. If I ever need this specific service again, I will return.

About 10 years ago, I bought a LifeFitness 93T treadmill from a private health club that was…read moreswapping out all their equipment for the newest models that came outfitted with tv screens (it was a health club in a very rich neighborhood). I'm fully disabled and use the treadmill for my physical therapy to help me with walking and balance. In the Fall of 2023, the treadmill stopped working. It would turn on but throw all kinds of codes. It took us a while save money and to find a local company to come to the house to do the repair. The tech they sent out said he wasn't very familiar with the 93T model but would do his best (WTH?!?), then he proceeded to try to upsell us on a new motor and walking belt (even tho the codes the treadmill was throwing was NOT overheating codes or ones for the belt!). They charged us for the visit and gave us a quote for repair...the repair consisted of a refurbed circuit board and the cost of a second home visit! I understand charging for the board, but an additional several hundred dollars for a tech to do the install?? I don't think so! So, the treadmill sat all summer and all fall of 2024. Then, I searched for a different company and found Circuit Board Repair. This company, Korey and his tech team are a gift from heaven above! Korey said they were familiar with the 93T treadmill and his communication throughout the repair process was impeccable!! It turned out that the circuit board had been repaired multiple times by the health club, unbeknownst to us, and that created a safety concern that Korey took very seriously. His techs needed time to ensure that the board would be safe when returned to us, but he wanted to get our eq up and running as soon as possible for me. So, we worked out an agreement that was a win/win for both of us and he sent us a refurbed board that they knew was safe to be installed in our machine. I totally trusted Korey and his team! We installed the board, and the treadmill fired up perfectly! The total cost was a few hundred dollars compared to the almost one thousand dollars that the other local company wanted to charge us! CIRCUIT BOARD REPAIR COMPANY IS FANTASTIC! I will forever be grateful for the fast turn-around they did, for their honest work, their care for our safety, and for Korey's customer service/communication skills! Do not hesitate to utilize this group of talented and caring individuals to get your treadmill back up and running again!

There were plenty of "Audio listening Rooms" in the late 1970's and 80's…read more You know, that darkened, specialized room designed so you could select your 'high end' stereo equipment free of distractions and with the help of your personal sales guy. The problem was that your initial excitement was dampened because it never sounded the same when assembled in your normal home environment. The 80's saw a reduction of these places as digital and phone apps and ear buds bloomed and boomed to to obliterate this older traditional way of listening, and specialized places disappeared. Most went high end portable tech. Many of us vinyl people went with the flow, packed away the LP's, stored the turntable, and became part of the more accessible but less personal and more detached portable music scene, foregoing that sacred home space that was the refuge room for listening. We became accustomed to the blue tooth portable sound, but knew, deep down, unlike the newer generations, that we had audible memories embedded by experience that had opened us to a world that many of this newer generation never knew existed, that could take us to a sounding stage and private place and listening space that was a world away, customized to our own auditory senses and creation. With the imposed solitude of the past two years, I wanted to rediscover that which I had lost in storage and forgotten in time. My $300 phono turntable of the late 70's had suffered in abandoned storage. My 1990 speakers were ok, but I also knew there might be better. Where to begin? I went to my computer and started reading. I discovered that the world of audio had gone internet, and that I could find a zillion places to buy and hundreds of opinions, a multitude of pricing, but NOWHERE to hear, to feel and judge with my ears what might be a good choice. I almost made an emotional purchase decision tied a familiar historic American named speaker brand, reputable in the past and renewed in production with a midwest address. They sell direct. Great reviews. Solid tradition. Friendly sales people by phone. Then I discovered, after asking questions, that they ARE in a small Indiana town, but everything in production and replacement is in CHINA. They are essentially the way station. Fine if that's (pardon the expression), "your cup of tea". Not mine. Not for the kind of expenditure and no ability to hear the product. I reside, let's say, in the boonies. By choice. Unfamiliar with current urban choices, another internet search of, " Madison, WI, Audio Stores", brought me to,"UNIVERSITY AUDIO"... Would this be another glitz, sales slick, suit and tie specialized sound proofed, adjustable lighting, myriad-ed postered, colorful brochures festooned enclave of super- duper rabbit hole-bottomless dollar pit maze, that would try to dissect me more than I wanted to dissect them, place?? No. I met Ben. As straight forward as the plastered walled rooms with a couple of chairs to listen to any number of audio choices so that you could find your ears matched to equipment and technology that your brain could hear, and to which your soul could relate. I really did rediscover 'The Sound of Music". (That a bit too trite, but truisms often are.) We got it all home now. It sounds true to what we heard and better, because it's in our listening head space, our room. My suggestion is: If you are going to take the journey, or rediscover the journey, take the road trip, not the internet trip; especially if you value experience over expeniture as your guide. University Audio may be justly, the education your ears need. TB a real fan. A real customer.
