We managed to snag her last minute, and got a really, really great deal on pricing. We had a tough time finding a videographer who was willing to provide us raw footage for us to have to watch over the years beyond just a quick 3 minute video or interviews-- let alone one who would do that within our budget. We almost bought a video camera and got a cousin to do it, but luckily we stumbled upon Silver Arrow Photography and got both raw footage and a stunning 5 minute edited video to one of our favorite romantic songs. We hired them for 4.5 hours-- just enough for the 30 minute ceremony and 4 hour reception, but she showed up early and captured some getting-ready moments that turned out to be really special on film. The resolution is super high quality and the video looks bright even on the dim dance floor with rose colored uplights. They uploaded it to Dropbox for us to download our highlight video 4 weeks from the day we got married, and our full raw footage was available about a week after that. Of all of our vendors for our wedding, I was most impressed by Silver Arrow Photography. I can't recommend them enough... it almost makes me want to get married again! (To the same guy, of course.)

As we all know, videographers ARE NOT cheap, but they're absolutely necessary if you really want to capture the magic of your wedding day for years to come. When I came across Chad's videos, I was stunned: they were so cinematic, beautiful, and full of emotion. Then, when I saw how affordable his packages were in comparison to other videographers, there was no doubt in my mind that I had found our videographer. We booked him right away, and he turned out to be one of our favorite vendors to work with. + VERY PROFESSIONAL: On our wedding day, the team set to work and knew exactly what to do and what to capture without getting in anybody's way. They only pulled me and/or my husband aside 2-3 times to "stage" a shot, but other than that, they left us alone to enjoy our special day. + CAPTURED EVERYTHING: The team captured all the special moments I was hoping to see: from the little things like our custom-made cake-topper and other décor, to the big things like our sparkler grand exit and my husband wiping away happy tears as he saw me coming down the aisle. They did a great job of dedicating more screen time to our bridal party and parents, but still zoned in on a variety of our guests so that everyone had a chance to shine. + VERY ACCOMODATING: Chad was more than happy to incorporate any requests I had for our video, which ranged from playing a particular song to incorporating a specific part of someone's speech. I really wanted our video to have certain elements, so it meant the world that Chad was so easy to work with. + QUICK TURNAROUND: We received our highlight video about 2 1/2 weeks after our wedding day. Our 2-3hrs of raw footage will take a little longer, but at least we have something to watch in the meantime. - QUALITY VARIES: I've noticed that the quality DOES vary depending on the package you choose. Some of the shorter, cheaper packages aren't as "cinematic." I really encourage you to take a look at the different videos on their website to determine what style you're looking for and how much it will cost. - MAY NOT BE ABLE TO MEET: With my Type A "perfectionist" personality, this was an issue for me at first. I was a very "hands-on" bride that wanted to double-triple-quadruple check every little detail with my vendors, so when Chad assured me that meeting wouldn't be necessary, I was very skeptical. However, he turned out to be right. We met him on the day of our wedding, and everything still turned out to be perfect. Just wanted to give other brides a heads-up! Overall, Chad and his team at Rethinkvideo were a delight to work with. We're very, very pleased with their work and we would definitely recommend them for all your videography needs. They have an eye to see things from the most flattering and unique angles. I booked them to cover 4 days of my wedding events and didn't meet anyone from the team until the day and hour of the events. Chad is a great communicator over phone/email and will do his absolute best to take care of all the details you want covered- no matter how long it takes! They have only covered a couple of Indian weddings so far, but I personally feel that their finished product is better than any other videography team that is super familiar with Indian weddings and their traditions. They were cooperative and very respectful of all traditions, customs and family members. I had some preferences for background music, and they completely worked with me and did a better job with my own music than if i could have arranged it myself. I am super excited to show my wedding video to my family and friends because I know they did a beautiful job of telling a story that is true to the personality of my husband and myself. Neither my husband, nor I, know how to pose or have ideas of what to do for videos / pictures but the team had a vision and directed us perfectly on what to do. Some things may feel awkward BUT TRUST THEM!! I can't stop rewatching our videos haha. DO hire Mir if you want: 1 - to call, email, text your photographer repeatedly before he ever answers. 2 - to be repeatedly lied to and told your pictures will be ready in 4-6weeks then wait weeks before you are told the same thing again. 3 - him to cancel on your engagement session. 4 - to only have pictures of the bride and groom from the wedding; everyone else will either not be pictured or will have blurry pictures and you will be told THEY were not standing still so its not his fault. 5 - to only have 2-3 pictures with your immediate family at the wedding and even those will not be clear. 6 - him to try to trick you into giving up all your rights to your pictures. 7 - to not ever receive your wedding albums. 8 - to eventually file a complaint in court to get your wedding albums. If you are hiring him for the most memorable day of your life - think twice.

He gave us a call let us know so we were able to adjust and get there earlier so we could still get some garden shots. Eric gave us plenty of time to get a variety of shots, he was not rushing us or being tight on time. He turned our pictures around in only a few days which was incredible. After we received our pictures, I realized there were a few photos that my dress was creased and I asked Eric if there was anyway they can be adjusted and he said he could see what he could do. A bait and switch that still has our group waiting for their promised product, 8 months later and 5 months after the promised 90 day delivery. We have been fed excuse after excuse and promised that it will all be worth it when we see the final product. Well, when you are so far into a breach of contract, those words are as empty as what you delivered. If you are interested in a videographer, look elsewhere... once he realizes he cannot deliver, he will ghost you and you will be left with residual memories of your event.
