We love hideout. And especially love their daily lunch specials for only $6. Cold beers, great food, and value. Locally owned, karaoke on Fridays and live music on Saturday.

Large Pepperoni Pizza - Solid but not amazing. Decent crust and cheese but toppings still under and I'm not a fan of that..

Overall this place was good but nothing spectacular to write home about...Both times I went during lunch it was completely empty and the music was sooo loud that I could barely talk to the person I was with....and again, we were the ONLY people in the entire place. The location is a bit weird and hidden (hence the name) and is probably the reason why it was dead both times. It is actually really big space and would be great for a big group, party or work lunch. They do have 3 pool tables which I really love!! It's a $1 a game which is a bit high but it works fine for playing a few games during lunch... The food overall is decent bar type food. Comes out hot and fresh and is nothing special or amazing but it was good. The menu has a good variety of options. I had a could of drafts blue moons and they were priced very good. Definitely stop by and check this place out if you're in the area!

*sigh* this place really has me conflicted. I'll do this review a bit differently and start of talking about the food then in the next section I'm going to hop on a soapbox. So if your looking for a quick "how good is the food?" Review just read the second paragraph and skip the 3rd paragraph. So how good is the food? It's great. I went with my oldest daughter and she got a personal pan Hawaiian pizza, I ordered a large cheese pizza (took half of it home to the other kids) and also a to go grilled chicken salad for the wife who was not with us at the time. The cheese pizza surprised me. It has plenty of substance. Much more than some so called deep dish pizzas proclaim. Very good sauce flavor and a nice cheese flavor with plenty of cheese to spare. My daughter enjoyed her Hawaiian pizza. It was a little pricey for the personal pan. A large cheese was only 2 bucks cheaper than that personal pan. My wife loved her grilled chicken salad. All of this we got for just over $30. The largr cheese was only like $13 or $14. Great value and great taste. This place had 5 star written all over for me. Except...... Time to hop on my soapbox. In the last year spanning from feb 2020 to Current (Jan 2021) I have traveled in 19 different states and eaten at establishments in every single one of them. Now as people currently know and future Yelp readers will probably be well aware of. We are in the midst of a national pandemic in covid 19. Unfortunately this place does not seem aware of that. Of all 19 states and what I would have to guesstimate around 100 plus places I've dined in during this pandemic this is the only place that didn't give a single damn about the pandemic it seemed. They had a musical bingo night and the place was slammed. which is awesome. It seemed like a lot of fun and they appeared to have several regulars. Good for them for being creative during this time. Also this place is huge so they had plenty of room to space out. They kinda had everyone stuffed on one side and the other side was empty. My daughter and I dined on the empty side. The spacing and crowd wasn't my issue. It was the lack of making people be responsible with masks. If your sitting down at the table then cool. But people were walking around mingling, shooting darts, walking to the bar, walking to the restroom, etc etc and no signs of masks anywhere. The employees had masks that was around there necks 95 percent of the time. A few of them put them on while bringing food out or refills out. The other ones including the bar tender never took it off there neck. They all would socialize with other maskless patrons as well. It was genuinely the most embarrassing effort I have seen from any establishment during this pandemic . Honestly, they are lucky someone hasn't reported them to the health board and shut them down. Which would be a damn shame because the food and atmosphere there seems great. Look I get it. This sucks. We all want things to resemble normal. Me as someone who dines out and travels a whole lot and even takes the time to write Yelp reviews maybe wants that as much or more than anyone. But we have to do better. This isn't helping the cause. It's making it harder to get back to normal. Places not following simple formalities are major setbacks. Who cares if you ruffle a few feathers of the locals. If bob gets up and walks across your establishment with no mask then just say "hey bob, mask up buddy". Every other place is doing it. Are you really getting ahead by taking these unnecessary risks? Soap box rant over..... Would I recommend this place. Yes I would. Thousand percent. Would I recommend dining in the rest of this pandemic if you or someone your close to is at risk? Hell no! Do takeout or just skip the place for the time being.

A small Reg 2-Topping* with my own added ingredients. Sausage, black olives, mushrooms and extra cheese

I ordered through DoorDash and this experience has lead me to never place an order there again. I have seen their pizzas in store, I've attended a snippet of their trivia night-never ate anything but definitely looked and smelled amazing. I ordered a small Reg 2-Topping* with my own added ingredients. Sausage, black olives, mushrooms and extra cheese, there was hardly any cheese at all. I don't see how this pizza even left the restaurant. My taco pizza wasn't that great either. I had to check the app again to remind myself what was supposed to be on it. Mostly dry with just sharp cheddar cheese on top. I ate 2 pieces of each pizza but tossed the rest. A total waste of money.

I went to Hideout pizzeria yesterday evening for dinner. I got us a large cheese pizza to go and when I walked in the environment was really cool laid-back dive bar restaurant type of feel when I walked in there were TVs everywhere there was a bar and to the left there's pool tables and classic arcade games and all kinds of cool things. I went up there I paid online I got a large cheese it was like $13 after-tax and they said will be a few minutes I kind of walked around looking at the atmosphere they had some really cool decorations of the local sports teams in the area high school middle school college all kinds of good stuff. So that was neat to see pool tables look nice TVs it was a good atmosphere for sure. When she handed me my pizza I thought one thing was funny because you know currently were still in the pandemic this lady walked by and I had my mask on and she didn't have one on and she's like hey don't worry I've already had Covid so I'm good what I thought was OK good for you funny whatever but anyway got back home ate the pizza it was fantastic. Very cheesy berry flavor for filling it was overall solid solid pizza for sure I do recommend it and I will be back

I've been wanting to try Hideout for a while and really glad that I did! Hideout is huge! It would be a great venue for a large group or any type of party. There is a large calendar on the wall with a lot of fun activities and karaoke! This is a place to have fun! Service was friendly and timely enough but nothing over the top. To start, we ordered the fried pickles. They were great and it was a very generous portion size. Then, pizza time! We had cheese, pepperoni, ham/pineapple, and Supreme. We went with original crust but want to try the thin next time. My crew had differing opinions on our pizzas. Overall consensus was that it's decent pizza. The cheese had rave reviews and the pepperoni and supreme were really good. Hideout is a great place to enjoy food, friends, and

    Meat lover's pizza
    Samantha-Heidi O.

I ordered the pretzels with beer cheese (good as per usual) and the meat lover's pizza. The pizza reminds me a lot of Wick's pizza (my fav in Louisville.) Ordered a small and it was surprisingly big. There was also a musician performing when I went (on a Saturday night) and it was just a good atmosphere. The only annoying thing was having to seek out a waiter instead of one coming to us, and the dining area wasn't that busy so idk what the issue was. I stood at the bar for a few minutes waiting for a bartender to notice me bc I wasn't sure who else to order from but no one acknowledged me. I ended up going up to a waitress I saw typing in an order on the wall next to the bar. I'm sure it was probably just a fluke but the pizza is bomb regardless, so if you live in Louisville and ever go out to Valley Station you should for sure try this place out.

Pizza sauce lacks in flavor a bit but overall decent. Service was good. Kids birthday party today so a little loud. I would come back

Very cute house limited parking very unassuming neighbourhood to a out-of-town. Client service was fantastic. Everyone was so pleasant. Food selection was great. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we got the meatballs, the Arancini balls, oysters, kids pasta and three pizzas. The meatballs came with its own pita homemade delicious. Honestly, it would come back just for that. Of course had to get the tiramisu for dessert even though we were so full and it was so good. Super comparable to pizza and food in Toronto honestly, I was so happy great way to end my two week trip

Tucked away on Frankfort Avenue, it's a little off the beaten path, and parking can be an adventure. There's a small lot by the restaurant with overflow parking further down the hill. Somehow we managed to snag the only open space right outside the front door, which felt like winning a very specific Louisville lottery. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the place was already buzzing. It was packed with locals, which is usually a good sign. While our table was being bussed, three different employees checked to make sure we were being helped. We let them know we were just a little early and waiting on our table, but it spoke volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a neighbourhood pizza spot: relaxed, lively, and unpretentious. The soundtrack quietly floating through the speakers was a crate-digger's delight, full of songs that have been sampled throughout hip-hop history. Hearing Lynn Collins' Think (About It) while waiting for dinner felt particularly apt following the recent passing of Rob Base. The song's iconic break became the foundation of It Takes Two, one of hip-hop's most recognisable records, and it was a nice reminder of how deeply great music connects generations. To start, we ordered the Olives & Togarashi, a bowl of Castelvetrano olives coated in a wonderfully aromatic blend of spices with notes of fennel, sesame and citrus. My son tried his first olive and was genuinely shocked by the flavour. He'll come around eventually. For the main event, we ordered three large pizzas: the DOP Margherita, the Funghi and the Original Sting. The DOP Margherita showcases imported buffalo mozzarella from Campania alongside basil and San Marzano tomatoes. The Funghi is loaded with an incredible blend of mushrooms, taleggio, pecorino cream and mozzarella. The Original Sting combines soppressata, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and spicy local honey in a sweet-and-savoury combination that completely works. Now, let's talk about the crust. It is perfect. Pillowy and light, yet substantial enough to give you that satisfying chew. The wood-fired oven creates just the right amount of charred bubbling around the edges. Our server offered house-made ranch and other dipping sauces for the crust, but we politely declined. This pizza doesn't need any enhancers. The balance of flavours across all three pies was exceptional. I've eaten pizza all over the world, and Pizza Lupo belongs in that conversation. It really is that good. We had a plan: sample all three pizzas and leave just enough room to split the tiramisu. Thankfully, we stuck to it. The tiramisu was fresh, light and beautifully balanced. Not overly sweet, nicely moist, with just enough espresso flavour coming through. It was the perfect finish to an outstanding meal. The service was fast without feeling rushed, friendly without feeling scripted, and genuine throughout the evening. We left full, not bloated, and happy as spring lambs, already talking about what we'd order next time. We'll defo be back. Cheers, Sam

We arrived about 7 on Saturday night, it was busy, but we were able to be seated within 10 min. Amazing location with street parking available. Great selection of Bourbon and beers available, and a great menu. They offer 4 styles of pizza: thin, original, thick, and Sicilian. We went with original, and it was perfect crust, with a chewy edge. Louisville style is two layers of cheese and toppings, with a slightly thicker than thin crust. We loved it, but it's very filling. Lots of leftovers, which is never bad. We always get 16in to maximize our slice to pizza ratio. Service was fast and attentive, their pizzas do take longer than your average, but it was worth it. I think ours took about 25 min.

My book club met at Impellizzeri's this week, and upon discovering several of us have dietary limitations, the server and kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure our ongoing health. A wonderful kitchen wizard ventured out into the dining room to talk to us personally, and confirmed that all the traditional pizza doughs, pastas, and red sauces are vegan. He offered to create a custom pasta dish with a variety of vegetables (spaghetti pomarola with garlic, spinach, and mushrooms), and ensured that the breadsticks that accompany the pasta dish (traditionally made with garlic butter and cheese) were vegan, prepared in a separate location in the kitchen to ensure no dairy contamination. For those with other food allergies and intolerances they ensured every detail was correct, even noticing that a pizza that was inadvertently prepared with an offending food item, and remaking it before it was even finished baking. Pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quantity and the truly excellent service, which is what truly made the experience special. My pasta dish was tasty. Is it the best pasta I've ever had? No - but it wasn't trying to be. What Impellizzeri's does well is serve good food at reasonable prices, in a location and with people who have an eye for detail and a passion for excellent customer service. Well done.
